  1. You'd think Chris Louis would try to do something about it, has he? Jeeeeez I know Lynn isn't like it was but it's a king to Ipswich!
  2. If you lose your home team, the team you feel most passionate about, of course your love for the sport wanes, only to be expected. Grading, I've always thought of this as making the track fair (not at Eastbourne and maybe Ipswich lol) and safe for the riders who I want to be able to give 100% every race, it's NEVER bothered me and it gives us time to talk about the race coming up, the race just gone, speedway in general or perhaps just life. Sorry if you've lost your passion for the sport, so glad I haven't
  3. He had it the week before and scored 10+2, it just didn't suit the grippy track I guess ....
  4. We had 3 efs to your none. We had 2 riders missing to your 1 and lost one on the night. Thomas LOVES a grippy track and NKI too tbh so I suspect they would've scored highly. The score was so close on the night that I believe we would've taken the win but for our injuries and efs. We'll agree to disagree
  5. Was that because their number 8 was injured though, Gilkes?
  6. Did we not have 2 of our own riders missing and another broke both wrists on the night through no fault of his own? How many efs too? The rain made the track grippy so Barker and King revelled in it unlike Lawson ....
  7. We just have to win, Ipswich are on a bit of a high so from race one, get in there Stars!!!!!!
  8. Weather was dodgy + cost of living = buy stream
  9. Too flipping right, our turn this season! 100%
  10. Thanks m8, typed out a reply then needed to find out the link but grandson took my mind off it ....
  11. The filming of the racing was good, the commentator got a rider or two wrong and there were one or two questionable quotes from Olly, the sound isn't 100% BUT it's 100% worth buying just to watch the meetings, it's very reasonably priced imo. How brilliant to have the choice to watch online once I decided the weather was too dodgy to go in person Of course the result was fantastic As for the last race, there was absolutely no intention by Richard to cause Ellis to fall, he was just doing what he had to do and Ellis was in the wrong place at the wrong time I suppose you could say. For anyone who says the scoring system is wrong, christ knows us fans LOVE team racing, ANYTHING that encourages it, bring it on imo
  12. Whereas I am looking forward to watching them all, it's a wide open comp imo!
  13. Why is that always done if there is rain in the air, surely if it rains on a slick, dry track it's too dangerous to carry on anyway? The racing that Peterborough should produce Apart from that, well chuffed that our guys won the first round with some determined racing Re the lack of fans, I sincerely hope money was made from the streaming. The weather put me off attending in person but I bought the streaming....
  14. Kills me that Richard Lawson is racing for Poole
