So it was fair to take out the reserve in heat 8 when 6 points down, easily get a 5 1 so you're then just 2 points adrift, whereas with the TR you'll be 10 points down, very lucky indeed to get an 8 1 to end up 3 points adrift ..... so more chance for the losing team with the old tacs to WIN the meeting!!?

To do away with the old tac sub rule was the right thing to do given it resulted in too many lower order riders not having their alloted rides. I like the fact that, particularly in 2015, it is imperative to get an 8 1 to really do any good out of the tac ride, puts more pressure on and means the riders have to team ride.

He had a real good go at the ELRC at Lynn, I knew it was his swansong here.

Perhaps cos there were 14 top 5 riders that finished on 7+ averages last year, so 2 per team spreads them out equallyish? Two don't seem to be coming back either so that makes 12.

Why not put out a poster every week via Facebook and twitter with all EL fixtures that we can share and like I suggested on another thread a promotional video?

What would Pedersen be on if he came back with Niels?

Perhaps people will come back if we use the internet, come the start of the season we should all send an advertising film out on Twitter and Facebook, with free tickets to be won etc ....... the Poles do some great short promotion films, about time the BSPA came up with something cool :-)

Probably not ;-) He "may" get an invite again, who knows ..... Why are people suggesting other number ones when we hopefully have Niels? If and when he tells us he doesn't wanna do 2015, isn't that the time to speculate?

On the other hand if a team wins more of their home meetings by a close margin ie by less than 6, they lose out against a team who have won less meetings overall but perhaps one or two more by over 6 ...... Lynn would have definitely topped the league going into the playoffs had this rule been in this year as they won 15 at home against Poole's 14.
