  1. We want less GPs, they mess with riders' heads and finances. In a sport where league racing is so important to the future of the sport the World Championship shouldn't be so incumbent imo ...And it wouldn't be if it wasn't owned by a private company. 2. I guess because Zagar was very lucky to not break his legs when he crashed? So glad some people have seen that Pedersen is NO pantomime villain, he really is a bad on track, but what comes around goes around!
  3. I'm surprised BSI had to be told that their meeting had been axed, you'd think they'd have a better relationship with Eurosport! Or is a matter of we get our money haven't got to worry too much?
  4. But it's a KNOCK OUT cup match so no tacs makes sense imo, well done to the promoters!!
  5. That must have been it SCB cos Phil doesn't do BEL!
  6. No they don't, they know what great entertainment and great racing can take place on the right track by the best riders in the world ..... and that weren't it last night!!
  7. Every year racing from Prague is ftg, why the hell can't they do something about it? The fans want racers tracks not gate and go! Do the authorities give a damn about the sport? Yes of course it's great to see your fav rider do well but as for entertainment it's poor!
  8. And buy the Speedway Star, will tell you what teams and riders are doing what, they have a website.
  9. A really thoughtful piece was read out at Poole tonight about Simmo and everyone at the track gave Simmo a minute of sincere applause, really nicely done and well deserved for a great rider now departed this life.
  10. This Wednesday? If so Ward will be racing at Poole surely?
  11. I used to take all 3 of my children, they're fine surprise surprise, they used to go to sleep in their pushchairs/car and we'd transfer them into bed and up in the mornings no worries lol
  12. We'll just live in hope that he starts swotting up on all things speedway from now on, how long will it take him to know what and who he's talking about?
  13. It's got to be really, really bad for the riders to walk out. They shouldn't have to race on an inferior track to win the World Championship, no excuse! You were totally satisfied with the debacle? :-)
  14. Loads of children about too, which they threw sweets to at the interval, a few sweets keep the kids coming! Yeah unashamedly sitting in deckchairs, sensible not old school! Just thought, they obviously don't mind about their kids being up 'late' with school next morning, we are obsessed in this country, dunno what people think will happen to their children if they stay up an hour or couple of hours after their normal bedtime!
  15. There's no excuse at the end of the day, if Ole Olsen was the overseer of the track prep then he oversaw the track shape et al. I don't give a t anyway, just glad all the riders came away unscathed, Olsen obviously doesn't really care as don't the FIM, as don't BSI, it's the same crap for everyone. The riders are obliged to race, they want to be world champs, they have signed contracts so are at the mercy of the three influences ..............
  16. I've made up my mind what spoils it for me but that thing is seemingly not gonna change any time soon :-(
  17. What's the point of any speedway country putting time and effort and money into the SWC when some promotional company is taking all the TV monies and potential sponsorship from it!
  18. But Western Springs is a permanent track!
  19. Ole Olsen clearly has no idea what he's doing ...............
  20. Surely this is what SCB is saying, he doesn't care what sort of blokes they are socially, it's how they race that he cares about?
