  1. He's been dangerous without being over the limit!
  2. I think the timer clocks on the centre green are the way to go and then it's up to the ref to time the meeting. As long as they allow time for track grading and time for riders to do a celebratory lap then I'll be happy :-)
  3. Keeping my fingers crossed for an injury free, successful 50th anniversary year, would be wooooonnnnnnderful to win the league in such a special year :-D ①✴
  4. Agreed, there is loads of potential improvement in our 2015 riders ......
  5. It's not a thankless task though!!! A great presenter would receive deserved plaudits!
  6. Sounds like the "programme" is here to stay so I won't be surprised if Matt is here to stay too!😕 Confirmed by Marc Gent on twitter! He's delighted by the sounds of it! "For those wondering about Matt (Stars presenter) on the BSF. I am delighted to say he will be back this season. :-)" It's surprising that a representative of the club finds it amusing to jeer at customers' opinions. They say that Mr Tesco stopped listening to their customers and so went downhill! Thank goodness we have some great riders to support eh....
  7. I don'the want meetings rushed through unless there is something after.
  8. Bridger couldn't afford it ..... hmmmMads remains a favourite at Lynn!
  9. Or perhaps they just really want them as Pirates! #loyalty
  10. Surely it's only June which is messed up by the WC when we will lack mainly weekly speedway? We get 4 regular months out of 5 .... with the eagerly awaited PotE in early August!Hopefully we will be able to enjoy Rory's meeting, a Polish mtg and the Poole matches in March too :-)
  11. So why do some people go on and on and on and on and on and on about it?
  12. That's what people want innit, get it all over done with early before the cold and rain of autumn :-(
  13. They do cos haven't the BSPA said that they would try to not run on meetings on GP weeks? I haven't checked to see if they have kept to their word ...... So there are GPs on 8th and 29th Aug WC on 6th, 8th, 11th and 13th June GPs on 7th, 18th and 25th July 16th and 23rd May And 4 more of them after that too!
  14. Fingers crossed they will all be sunny spring days!!!!! Come On!!!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D And everyone has saved their pennies over the speedway starved winter so they can enjoy every race of our 50th year :-) UP THE STARS, THIS IS OUR YEAR :-D
  15. On the other hand some might not be able to wait to get stuck into supporting the team after the long winter, the more the merrier ;-)
  16. Just book ya holidays!!! I'm no Boro fan, are you? 😲😵😛😝😎😪😖😭🙈🙉💩👹👅👎
  17. The PotE is listed as 5th August, gotta be one to look forward to in our 50th year :-) I'm looking forward to going to as many fixtures as possible, hope we're in for a successful year!!!!
  18. But we love the gp series don't we hahahaha
  19. Has Havelock got it wrong though, we were def told that whatever league the rider is an asset of would get priority .....
  20. Loads of older "old" speedway fans are happy just watching it on Sky, don't think this lot will ever come back, we have to appeal to the young ones! Marketing the sport as extreme and some of the riders as err 'pin ups' might helpBut then the promoters also need to make the presentation up to date as well! Get input/ideas from youngsters is my suggestion lol
  21. I'm only talking money re that meeting. They can crave all they like, let the guys who put themselves out to race here have the practice, perk of the job 😊
