Perhaps more top riders will go for the European Championship instead of the 12 rounder, wouldn't be so intrusive to their year and wouldn't it help our promoter's wish to race on Friday nights! ....
And apparently the staff are treated like sh**!? Brian Griffin and what a breath of fresh air he was! Perhaps they were too generous and that took it's toll at Lynn :-( Remember our 2000 team!
Well one awkward team have gone in Eastbourne! I guess the less teams there are in our EL the better for the top men.
Do we know how many of them want to race here with only one day a week race night? I guess it's down to the promoters to find out!
Just gonna check on the Pairs thread to see if you had the same enthusiasm for British Speedway that you without fail show for BSI events!
Nope nothing!
Come down to earth people, this is the world championship, it should be a bigger occasion than any league racing imo!
Without league racing there would be no world championship though .....
You've probably hit the nail on the head, maybe if promoters either employed someone full time to run their club or did it themselves things might be different. I realise the close season is a prob to be overcome.
I guess it's mainly because I don't particularly feel an affiliation with any of the riders (only Kildemand races over here now in the BEL and I'm not so keen on him) I'm watching it for speedway sake alone (perhaps I do like Emil). Don't get me wrong the comp is the format for the World Championship I'd like to see and I like that the riders are getting better reward out of it. The Polish are rightly using their resources on their competition rather than the other one. It's all good really isn't it! No more negativity :-)
