Oh leave off people do, Darcy has had his fair share of pisstake and ridicule, won't that do for some of you! It's just not funny or necessary any more!!
Can only echo what everyone has said about the meeting and all involved. Just goes to show how much everyone cares in this sport of ours.
I was particularly impressed with Steady and the way he handled himself racing, on his victory laps and on the mic after the trophy presentation, he sure did Ricky proud :-)
The semi and final were the best races of the night for obvious reasons.
The BSPA MUST put more effort into running this meeting. Apart from the heats and a couple of interviews that was it. And one victory parade other than the semi and final by the riders, just not good enough!
Do they have a working party that decide on the presentation of this meeting or what?
The discussion is the Poole track and how it SHOULD be the best in the country being the track of the richest club!
Matt NEVER mentions the track, why can't he get to grips with it?
In this case it's not the winning but the taking part, the Lynn contingent will be able to take some scalps no doubt and a good experience and shop window for our non extraleague boys.
It just has to be treated as an international challenge.
Well I'm looking forward to supporting the Lynn riders, hope you lot miss £25 worth of great racing nur nur nur nur nur!! ;-)
I won't be buying a prog, not necessary and my car does 60 to the gallon so £25 diesel and hopefully a passenger, not so bad :-)
If I was really tight I could take sarnies and a flask ;-)
As Gav Caney pointed out to me it is very good exposure for Lynn Speedway and our riders, what if Robert and Lewis got a Polish or Swedish berth from it or Buster gained an international sponsor, that would be something eh! So it's not all negative ......
I thought on balance that it had been agreed by most fans that the ELRC was better run at the start of the season when riders and fans alike are raring for some action instead of at the end, after countless GPS and league matches and when all the playoffs are happening in possible poor weather??
I'd definitely prefer Kevin Moore who has been a huge speedway fan for as long as I can remember, failing that the guy who was at Eastbourne doesn't now do Eastbourne, he's pretty good if he was available.
