Pretty sure Porsing does care about his form, he had his head in his hands after his last race. Nick then came out after the meeting practicing and his mechanic making a change or two. As did Niels who obviously was having problems tonight as well.
Good performances from the rest of the team apart from Ashley, he's finding it hard round Lynn 😕
Good to see Paulco on his Southern Tour, hope you enjoy Ipswich!!!!
I couldn't give a t*** about those sports, not interested. Only to say they are totally different sports.
Time will tell what happens with the SGPs, whether they do become stand alone as suggested .......
You can't stop good riders gating well (that's a skill in itself), they can't be missing the gate on purpose, it takes two determined, well set up teams to produce close racing ....
I think once a fortnight is overkill, with less meetings every one is crucial, it's not so demanding for the riders, not so disruptive to any league and every one could possibly be a sell out.
Don't matter what I think though, the powers that be seem to have a vision, mind you too many more Warsaws and it may flop!
That is the thing for me with showing more PL, variety of tracks and riders.
Certainly was an interesting meeting, awful lot of mistakes and falls, the banking catching riders out. Well done to the new Glasgow promoters!
And don't forget his fixture compiling computer programme!!!
He would surely be an asset to British speedway promoters if they asked him to be, Neil Watson has worked this out!? ☺
You really aren't worth answering but I told you the reason why, because there are less rounds, full stop. I don't think there should be such a long gp series, it's too demanding of the riders among other reasons.
The riders had all got used to the green light starts surely?
Are you sure it wasn't the track, heat 8 it really starts to show up as rutty and dangerous. The riders were all riding gingerly through the bends trying to miss the ruts, they couldn't race properly. Troy's second fall was too far for some I think.
So riders were invited independently and not nominated by the ACU/BSPA. Tai and Scott Nicholls were originally invited, was Rob Lambert contacted at this time too?
Remain peed off that Tai isn't racing here this year but I'm betting there is more to this pull out than meets the eye, sure Rosco tweeted it's political.
Promoters have got to do this, yes I know it is open to abuse, but they don't get enough fans through the doors as it is let alone if they try to run with showers\rain pending.
