Yeah cos it's an event rather than a club meeting, hence why promoters need to ramp up the volume or whatever u do these days 😊 There were quite a few kids getting autographs and photos of the BV riders on the terraces after the meeting, unless it was the same ones running to the front all the way lol

I was there, Ken was giving plenty of effort but you had to get the 1st/2nd bend right or nowt. He tipped the kerb in his first race whilst in third. He certainly gated in 7 but couldn't make it stick coming outta the 2nd bend against the very fast Nicholls and Zagar. Gated off 4 in 14 and made it stick. Ah well, must say I liked the way the whole BV team came out into the crowd after the parade truck stopped at the start gate to walk back to the pits, loads of fans took the opportunity to talk to the riders, kids to get autographs and photos ....

We'll take Chris off your hands then!!!!

Lynn need someone to fill the role of 'speedway promoter', Buster does the track and whatever, Rob the team, Marc the prog, some pr and sponsor stuff but his role seems to vast to do it all?

Must be the only one who thought Sky didn't overdo Darcy's return. I was interested to see CLouis pick out Darcy's racing techniques and throttle control although of course none of us are daft enough to think he's the only one who does these things. Also was interesting to hear what Kyle Newman had to say about him too.
