I have NEVER bothered about how nice a stadium might be, as long as I could stand and see the Speedway, it has always been about the track and racing for me. Obviously young people don't mind 'roughing' it as they love music festivals, God knows the loos there are 100% worse than any Speedway stadium. Speedway doesn't attract these youngsters in huge amounts though so it has to cater for what it has, so get the bloody tracks right then look at the stadium. Hope the new Swindon stadium has 'flat' terracing, it must be one of the worse along with Belle Vue. At least Lynn have always had decent terracing

I don't agree with you much at all but I do this time. Speedway fans, riders, promoters these days are most definitely not sheep, speedway is our 'thing' and on the whole we love it, hence most of the stuff on this forum. Unfortunately we need to change to become sheep-like, as you say.

The PL will have to run with more NL riders then, the promoters won't like that!

So it's going ahead then, Branford for Lewi and r/r for Robert. Whatever the Stars do, support them 100%. Can't make this one.

It's up to each individual club to make their guests feel welcome, part of a team and to want to give 100% for that particular night, IMO it's not 'pretend battle'!! Most of the people on this thread don't go to speedway anymore, don't have a club to support, will never be satisfied with what's on offer imo .....

Can't u sell the sport from a rider's point of view, racing inches apart, no brakes, no gears, injuries, riding hurt, show them pics of injuries etc etc They make it look easy, it's not!

But of course not every race, every meeting is first out of the gate wins ......

I'm hopeful that the BEL promoters are looking at 2 nights a week but of course that hasn't happened yet! And if it happens at all it won't be an easy transition .....

You just think yourself lucky, things may change in the future as Poland becomes a richer country .....

Thought they had police at Polish meetings? One would have thought that those blokes will now be banned from Speedway for life? Have they made a big thing about it in Poland Martin?

Well deserved point for Lynn, if Rob had been well and Nicklas ridden like Lynn on Weds we may have got more. Was great to see Ashley and Ken racing well. Our boys coped better with the dodgy old track at the start of the meeting, the Cov track staff did more prep to the track during the meeting than I bet they did before! Always enjoy sidecar speedway but someone tell me why the paramedics were off the track during the races? They got caught out too, thank goodness the guy was okish!

I've got my tickets for the opening night, not sitting down though!! lol I've emailed BV re the bricks, hopefully I'll get a reply.

The rule has to be ref's decision, ABSOLUTELY NO racing in rain or decision by both teams to carry on or not.
