Can't the Supporters Club write to the Council, get stuff in the local rag etc re a new venue, do they know of areas of land available, suggest them?

You post tells Eurosport that they need more input from those in charge on the night, if the viewing public had known about the 3 fencing panels being damaged, the fact that one is a panel attached to a gate that would've placated a few. We needed talk about the track too, was it just the fact that it has dirt on that put riders off and why, was their ruts or was it the fact that the track men don't have enough time to keep a deep track smooth when the cameras are there, is every 4 heats enough, thinking back to Lynn, Huggy would grade after every hear to smooth out berms! Maybe talk about the history of the airfences if we've got newbies watching, what was it like before airfences, both Kelv and Scotty could've done that?

Surely having a presence in the city centre wouldn't cost anything? They will have public liability insurance anyway? Printing off fixture lists and/or giving a few free tix out won't cost much?

You need the council on your side, a hoarding in a prominent place would be great or take a bike into the city centre

Just looked on the Brum twitter feed, no tagging of any Birmingham newspapers, Birmingham Live accounts or anything, surely they need to do all this to get the word out? Is there any young people attending Birmingham speedway? The terracing is crap at Brum, you can't see in the pits, a few changes need to be made??

Yes true and maybe in this day and age when there is barely enough riders to go round the riders have got the upper hand when negotiating but surely promoters only get burnt once? I've always thought promoters should offer a win bonus within reason. Years ago riders had percentages of gate receipts, promoters have done all sorts of deals by the looks of it .....

Fans basically, most of our clubs have had numerous owners (not so many at Lynn obviously) but they only exist because of the fans, no fans, no club. Of course there are good and bad owners, no owner is perfect but the majority of owners of speedway clubs are pretty passionate about their clubs and do their best (some see their best as good, some rubbish but that's people for ya). Of course owners of stadiums have sold stadiums from under the feet of the fans, many, many past owners, that's another story!

Let's go 3 good gates, 2 poor gates lol You ought to have seen the 4th bend line he took at Lynn last night to defeat Holder in heat 13!

Re Pickering, I love watching him race but I'd love, for his sake and ours, for him to gate consistently ......

Being grateful to have a team is not killing the sport it's keeping it going. We know absolutely no rider is happy to race and score no points, no promoter is pleased losing meetings, no passionate fan is happy losing meetings but afa fans go it's no good staying away from your club if things aren't going good because that's a sure way to lose ya club!!!! Let's keep supporting our club, riders and management, as we know all the stars have to be aligned for club success, it will happen again, I'm there!
