Yes of course if they get an average only on those 4 meetings. Now what will teams do, make sure they have four home meetings to start so their FTR reserve moves up into the team and they have a real strong number 6? But will the FTR rider be able to be replaced by the reserve, surely not? So this may not be a goer.
Let's hope that this rule doesn't get ratified in November eh
It would be a bit of a pain to work out but they could use only their average from rides against 2nd string riders from last year, which would be fair and a true reflection of their EL form .......
I'm glad people aren't letting this go, as long as it remains a mystery, the questions will go on and it will reflect on Poole Speedway.
I was so moved by the feelings shown (apart from the group of guys who stood near me on the 1st bend) at Darcy's meeting and all that has been said by Matt and Neil, as it's all come from the heart 100%.
It's hard to believe they would use Dakota and his Dad as is being suggested on here but they have previous so for this one to be put to bed, they need to give a little more detail IMO .....
We're a fickle lot, in one breath we ask for big changes, in another they should have a plan and stick to it! They have had a plan with the FTR ....... The main things I would like changed is 2 nights a week racing and to improve the presentation of meetings big time ....
Question is DO any Edinburgh fans support Glasgow and vice versa? Will Fridays for Glasgow really affect the Edinburgh fan base?
Surely it's like asking whether any Lynn fans support Ipswich every week? Bloody no lol
These days we have big individuals every fortnight, gps! Lol
Of course they're not the same, but they are the reason we don't have our big meetings here anymore
You say there is no continuity but Lynn had all their 2014 team back in 2015 apart from Lewis Rose who we had to let go because of the rules ......I KNOW I would be the same if Lynn closed tbh .....
The racing hasn't changed that much Steve, still four guys going hell for leather for four laps, no brakes, no gears, inches from one another at times Still hurts like hell if the fall off, they still break bones or worse
If you have lost your team it makes all the difference though, a lot of passion comes from supporting that team IMO.
Most riders give their racing all at every meeting but what the fans want is that little extra of crowd interaction, it's not too much to ask is it? Fans are there supporting the riders and club, sometimes I wonder if they get that .......
