Did the moisture come up to the surface overnight after the two riders practiced on it Friday, if they said it was OK, something happened between then and Saturday night ......
Iversen injured his leg in a crash on Friday, if you read his Twitter feed you would see that he said he was kidding himself he could race at BV but wanted to try. Hence pulling out of Bomber's meeting .....
Know what u r saying but I'm just gonna think what I paid to get there is just my donation towards it, maybe stupid but I'm chuffed with the stadium and look forward to seeing some great racing there in the future.
I was more peed off with the hole in the Poole track at the end in 2014 I can tell you. Of course I gave BSI short thrift about their Warsaw track and others but after all they are just out to rake in money from the pinnacle of our sport full stop and are fully deserving when they balls up!
He's pulled out of Bomber's meeting tonight and said on twitter he was probably optimistic about racing last night but wanted to give it a go so had it gone ahead he may have had to pull out anyway.
He was right, the promotion were damned if they did, damned if they didn't though but on balance it would have been better to have called it off last week imo ....
I'm home and over my disappointment, I hope the abandonment doesn't have far reaching consequences for the BV promotion as the stadium will be great. Look forward to the rerun/Lynn meeting there .....
