With so few EL home matches, no way would I miss a live one, it's always good to watch the coverage back after though 😊 Got to admit to not liking the strictness of the TV coverage and the way it intervenes with a meeting though ....

I do an 80 mile round trip to speedway but a few of us do share which works well.

One of the very important things that BEL promoters need to improve on is track prep, there should be one mighty competition to be the Track of the Year every year. Should be voted upon by riders and a prize for the winner. And the worst prepared track should be outted and fined!

To save money I guess, simple as. Many fans just aren't as passionate about their team as in years gone by.

I'd love to watch KOC matches again, but I was never one of the fans who stopped going to them. I'm pretty sure the riders could spare half an hour in the bar after a meeting if they really wanted BUT not so sure that many fans bother to go in on a weeknight. It was the done thing on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday when UK racing was number one but not now. When we were in the PL loads of our team lived locally and only rode in the UK so it was a totally different scenario.

Only heard of Ivan Mauger, (his country was on the oyher side of the World, he didn't commute to his meetings from there like Tai does from the UK), that's part of the point I'm making, ah never mind, we will agree to differ ....

The main thing is we have this rider, who we may never see ride in our country properly again, maybe once a year at Cardiff if u go, that's it basically, in a nutshell.

Management def said costs went up big time in the PL. Of course in our last year in PL things didn't go so well ....

You can't get a much better draw than Niels and Robert, if fans don't go watch those two they won't go watch anyone. Troy was more in the mix tonight but he's most definitely not back to what we know he's capable of ..... every meeting is crucial in this small league, no doubt the management will be looking at their options after tonight, trouble is what options are out there? It's a shame about Kai, he seems to hate the grip but after all he is a German so nit useductive to it. He needs to get practising on the grippy track to overcome his problems?

You're on a total downer this year, of course when things aren't going well the fans will be quiet, that's normal isn't it ..... there was some good racing tonight and we were on the receiving end of some, years ago we were just glad to have a classy number one and two and lived in hope of winning cos the racing was good ....... how times change

Every meeting does count, hence getting the best riders in if someone is injured or whatever, wriggling round rules etc.

My 10 would be, Lambert, Cook, King, Bomber, Nicholls, S Worrall, Bates, Garrity, Ellis and R Worrall.

Someone ask Tai on twitter if he turned down a wildcard place? ......
