  1. And they would no doubt if they were being paid by the promoters ..... Obviously the FIM and BSI pay out nothing or the Aussies wouldn't have been asking for crowd funding ... The Stars get loads of coverage in our two local newspapers, Lynn News and EDP. Dunno what BSI send them ready for the SWC ....
  2. The promoters of the SWC should stump up the readies for their comp!
  3. Nothing to lose, there's one thing young guys have got and that is will to win, if their equipment is up to the job then they can be a force.
  4. Well said Haza, don't even go there Pinny!! Rory is 100% entitled to be concerned about his health and that of our team, Kai got hurt as it was!!
  5. Gotta at least try eh, the team want more meetings just like we do .....
  6. I guess I could see what was going on "ish" so the time factor didn't concern me, but yeah of course fans need to know what is going on if possible, if only to say discussions are taking place. Also saying that for some of the time we could all see what was going on as things were happening on track. I've done my fair share of constructive criticism over the years SL and you know it, I'll always love speedway racing at Lynn, as long as there is racing there I will attend. I want to see the riders being able to give 100% on our track and so should everyone involved in speedway. I am concerned about the bikes\engines not being controllable in non-perfect track conditions but it's only the FIM who can ultimately do anything about that .....
  7. There was plenty of discussion going on in the pits ..... It was pretty obvious what was going on when Buster was blading the track, they had another couple of rides and then more duscussions, Can't remember how long it was then before they announced the call off and Buster went on the mike .....
  8. You know that do you Danny? Or was he just acting on instructions?
  9. I'm not so sure, don't suppose we will ever know exactly what went on.
  10. How did Buster treat the public, it was the ref surely who wanted the meeting to go ahead, Buster just did what was asked of him? I certainly don't condone the way he spoke to Rory though, let's hope they can 'make it up'!! The riders could be asking if something needs to change with the engines they use now though?
  11. So do the FIM need to look into the engines used now and how they handle on difficult tracks? The fans are powerless, it's down to the top brass.
  12. This wasn't just a rain shower Shovlar, it was a thunderstorm. And nothing like u describe. Don't forget the Poole hole in the track night last year before u start ....
  13. He tried but at the end of the day it's the riders risking their lives out there. Don't let that put u off going on a dry night. This meeting between the two teams should be a belter eventually.
  14. I'm sure this was the problem last night, the ref insisted it go ahead. One rider is hurt we mustn't forget. Buster did everything he could to sort the track but it was just too wet from the thunderstorm. The material Buster has is not exactly Leicestershire Red Shale lol I hope he apologises, not one rider wanted to be out there surely?
  15. IF the NL was on a non EL week it should pay at Poole? IF Poole can't sustain NL nobody can!
  16. Probably the Leicester track staff really ought to not have come on here giving their stories.
  17. One can well understand if Rory and Batch were dubious about racing on that track given their injuries this year. We're getting away from the main culprits though, the ones who opened the ticket office.
  18. We do need him but he's decided we aren't worth his trouble ....
  19. I got only my ticket money back from the ill fated Poole hole in the track meeting so don't expect any recorded delivery costs back!
  20. I guess our boys wanted to give themselves every chance of doing their best. The main thing was that there looked no let up in the rain clouds and more rain was likely. Had there been blue sky overhead I think they would've tried to do something with the track.
  21. Apart from the management will be able to bring in a good guest?
