No way should they've had the MDL mtg before the ELRC, they HAD to produce a slick track for the boys hence it being useless for the top men .... ridiculous but I know why they did it.

I'd like to know if Holder was ever gonna race in this meeting, would never be surprised if Matt couldn't give two hoots about encouraging his boys to race in this given it doesn't "benefit his business" ..... You won't get that anymore, you see World finals every fortnight with the gp series.

Unless the guys get rides abroad of course they want to keep their PL rides and pay, makes sense.

Such a pity the Panthers don't come back to the EL, miss our derbies ....

I was always under the impression that the Workington people loved their speedway club, when I used to come up in Lynn's PL days I'd never witnessed such generous fans, particularly in the bar afterwards. What's gone wrong?

Hadn't read this thread til today, I think it's great that markyb has made a statement like the above, we're all passionate about our club/favourite riders, it's when we lose that passion that we're lost to the sport 😕

They're letting the fans down, nobody else ....

Have very much enjoyed watching both Mikael and Peter race over the years, wish them both a fantastic retirement from our great sport.

Matt isn't the club, the fans, sponsors and riders are the club ..... main thing he gets on with Middlo .....

I reckon it's up to us oldies (lol) to create a great atmosphere at our clubs, like the "Ipswich Massif" have started to do this year. So a group of enthusiastic, big mouthed, happy fans to make loads of noise, give the away riders a hard time etc etc at every club If youngsters think they are missing out on the fun they will be there ........ maybe

Didn't think Holder's love affair with Poole would ever end, surely the fans still support him and want him racing for them?

The only reason I kept my ticket was in the hope of seeing our full 2016 team once more (barring injuries) 😕
