  1. Will just have to wait to see if this is confirmed, he was quoted in the ELRC prog as saying if things stay the same he will stay racing in the UK, hope so .....
  2. But people don't go to speedway to go to the loo they go to be entertained and that is THE most important ingredient to the night. Of course I am joshing about the loos but honestly bad loos never put me off and we had some awful loos at Lynn, mind you I do come from the era of outside loos at school with daddy longlegs all over the door arghhhhh lol The men on the mic are worth their weight in gold at a meeting, if every club had a good one it would help immensely. If every rider got it into their head that they are racing for their fans and the refs allowed the riders plenty of time to interact with the fans after each race, we'd be getting somewhere!
  3. So Stars fans what's your team wish list for 2017 ....
  4. Because British promoters have to rent their stadiums for the months they need it perhaps? We obviously can't attract the same amount of sponsorship either unfortunately. I don't know how Polish companies makes their books balance giving so much sponsorship to speedway when not paying their workforce much 😊
  5. Sincerely hope this rule backfires on Polish speedway, not that I spend much money over in Poland but I certainly will not until this rule is overturned.
  6. Here's the latest on the Poles dictating to the World if league speedway. If they go ahead with this, knowing how it will hit British speedway, I would hope that British fans will boycott Polish speedway of every sort in 2017? http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/636973/jest-decyzja-w-sprawie-ograniczenia-liczby-lig-dla-zawodnikow
  7. But the guys who live here or who are looked after (AJ and Zagar) make the effort so thanks to them eh!
  8. No way do we want to use PL averages in team building, that's been abused for far too long ....
  9. The SKY deal needs to be big enough to let the punters in for a donation or something, that money just isn't there ...
  10. Jesus, that sounds terrible, the music at the Under 21s in Gdansk did my head in, some up to date stuff is fine but not the ott poop lol
  11. What about heats 4,5,8 and 9 or is that what u mean, protected against 2nd strings? I mean just disregard heats 2 and 12.
  12. The cleanliness of the loos have never bothered me particularly. Always about supporting my team, the quality of racing and crowd interaction ..... ok so I like a half decent cuppa but that's it lol Tell ya wife to hover or line the seat, get out as quickly as possible and enjoy the racing
  13. IF Robert gets his chance he knows he has to make it count, perform or out ...
  14. I would get rid of the stats from all protected races from this season and revise all averages from that for next season .....
  15. Sick of PL fans that keep on and on about EL teams being full of PL riders. There are reasons why riders stay racing PL, of course they enjoy it but some of them would like to break through in Sweden and Poland where the big bucks are but simply can't so they need PL racing still. I read in the ELRC prog that Nick Morris and Bomber want PL racing next year because they need to race more. The amount of fixtures the EL offers is not enough but they can boost their earnings and time on the bike in the PL. So many EL riders are plying their trade in the PL as it suits their career and earning potential, it's not because they are just "PL" standard .... Years ago the PL was the training ground for riders to then make the step up to the EL, it still is to a certain extent but as I said above riders can't then make a living off EL fixtures alone so they stay PL. EL bosses need to find a way of giving EL riders more fixtures so they don't need PL racing (PL fans and promoters won't like that, if their star riders were missing eh!), more NL boys can then get places in the PL which would help their development. Obviously some sort of job share\squad system could be put in place for the guys who have got rides in Sweden and Poland (if costs could be met? .... I guess there is good reason why this hasn't been done yet though). Let's see what they come up with. Buster says in the ELRC prog that the Gerhard engine has reduced costs dramatically for those who have used them this year, that sounds a good thing for speedway Oh yeah and while I'm ranting, the pigging names Elite, Premier and National are just pigging names to differentiate between the piggin leagues, arghhhhhhhhhhh
  16. I really hope it all works out for Leicester, it was a dream come true for many Leicester fans, they are still all out there if you can find a decent promoter for the club .....
  17. Wow, sometimes you have to protect and stay with your riders surely?
  18. No way should they've had the MDL mtg before the ELRC, they HAD to produce a slick track for the boys hence it being useless for the top men .... ridiculous but I know why they did it.
  19. What difference does that make exactly? fly in, fly out ..
  20. I don't believe Holder has just pulled out, I reckon he never was riding in it .....
  21. I'd like to know if Holder was ever gonna race in this meeting, would never be surprised if Matt couldn't give two hoots about encouraging his boys to race in this given it doesn't "benefit his business" ..... You won't get that anymore, you see World finals every fortnight with the gp series.
  22. Not a surprise, well done Adam for giving a toss about the fans ....
