Thank goodness all the guys came out of that unscathed, one to forget and will take a miracle of some proportion for us to progress in the KOC ..... Wolves sure are on a roll, gating and racing hard for their points, heat 13 Masters v Lambert was particularly hard fought, jeez! Our KLSSC member chose Chris Holder as our Rider of the Night and with 2 of our only 5 wins in heats 10 and 13, a good bit of team riding in heat 1, he deserved it, even though he chucked the win away in heat 6! :0

What do you suggest then? Just keeping practising after meetings, no competitive speedway until when?

Why do u think I'm helping to run the Supporters Club, obviously I wasn't happy! Of course there's more that could be done, we all know that!

I guess it's a balance re some info, tell people too early and they have more time to moan and complain, particularly on here. I dunno how long it takes to find a willing replacement on the correct average, in this particular instance, but perhaps if you're working yourself it's not a 5 min job? If the club had more fans and so a full time promoter/manager I dare say things may be easier, like a few years ago .... Oh for 3/4/5k fans

Well Nicklas chucked away £340 on flights so the call off cost him... Buster told Nick's manager that it was "too windy to carry the air fence and panels for straights"....quoted from David's Twitter.

Believe it or not but loads of fans would've taken the explanation for the call off OK and just carried on with their life...with no thoughts as to a conspiracy or anything else.... at the end of the day nobody lost any money (apart from maybe a Rye fan or two who may have booked a day off work but that is the risk you take supporting your club away from home), took no wasted journeys and we go again next week...

Luckily the fan representation on this site is very small.
