I found Sky weren't the problem, it was Go Speeds representative who always pushed for things to carry on no matter what. Many a time I've heard Steve Brandon say it's on your head ###### if a rider gets injured.

There lies the problem. Instead of promoting the hell out of the sky meetings and producing stadiums bursting at the seams, most clubs took their staging fee and moaned because no one turned up.

Or Sky paid up to the end of contract?

Probably cheaper to pay the fee to get out of contract than the costs of covering the sport this year.

Seeing a team that was vilified at the beginning of the year grow into a superb tight set of riders who wanted to win together. Superb team spirit. All played their part but Josh and Garry held them all together great team players.

I know exactly what Starry does and he is an invaluable volunteer.

In terms of lighting, led floods although not cheap are available and with lower running costs not so much a small fortune.
