Have to agree Rob when Poole ran the Buccaneers, it was my most enjoyable 2 seasons of speedway. Whether it was because all the riders were more accessible I'm not sure but was a great couple of years.

Saw Ellis at Somerset last night and I was impressed, think the lad will be a good rider in the not too distant future.

I hope Somerset refuse to move it.

He'd be frightened to put it on Track! To be fair I do know the quarry where the shale was coming from was under water at start of season so couldn't get if out of ground.

Looking at the track surface I would say the last lot of shale was very poor quality. It looks and feels like dust.

If we had any. Very kind but will have to politely refuse.
