I can't see the BCP administration running this sort of business. As Skidder 1 seems to think there is a bit of time left on lease it would not be cheap buying it back. I've never seen the terms and conditions of the lease but would like to know if it stipulates how many activities have to be run at the site?

Poole Council being one of the worst

With the amount of debt this crooked lot have run up, I can't see that happening. It's a huge plot and with other pockets from railway sidings etc nearby, worth some serious money. Would also cost the council a pretty penny to buy the lease back.

Local council in Poole is pretty much the same, although local elections are due.

Do you not think Stadia UK are not looking at opportunities to get other use from the stadium?

The price of land in this area is ridiculous. I bet prospective promoters have looked. Best thing they could do would be buy Poole Stadium. Cost a pretty penny mind. Then you would see why costs are so expensive!!!!!!!!!!

Rental agreement will always be negotiated yearly but doesn't mean speedway will be out on it's ear. There are NDA's in place so things won't go public.

But surely as Speedway has a signed contract then Wednesdays should be safe. Although everyone has a price.

Again where's the proof? Stadium costs need to be covered by whoever rents the space.

Well said Ian, the stadium landlords are a business and need to make a profit, which seems to miss a lot of Poole fans.
