  1. Glad to hear it - this was a suggestion I made on another thread last night - I'm sure the BSPA will win damages (or they will if there's any justice left in this world!)
  2. They can't hide the fact that Olsen is Race Director and therefore should go - he is in overall charge of track preparation and therefore responsible.
  3. The six riders who progressed to the next round tonight could also feel mighty peeved if they go out at the first hurdle next week :!:
  4. See the third posting on this thread Addy  :clown
  5. As Race Director, Olsen is responsible irrespective of who actually did the job.
  6. Taking the sport to a new level and big money go hand in hand. Take one or the other away and the GP will revert to what it was in 1995 and probably never recover.
  7. I'm sure they will - but if any British clubs challenge this through the courts, the outcome will not be decided by BSI or TR.
  8. They would also have to lay a temporary track. ;-) :clown
  9. Seems like the ideal opportunity for the British teams affected to claim compensation from the FIM.
  10. That's assuming that BSI don't question the overall professionalism of the sport and pull the plug! This events of tonight NEED a scapegoat and that scapegoat should be Olsen.
  11. You've got to question what speedway fans will return too, Steve. BSI are offering a full refund on tickets, but there's no way they will compensate fans for a wasted journey from all over Europe (and maybe beyond).
  12. I've got to agree - there are enough competent people lose their jobs every day through no fault of their own. THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO RETAIN THE INCOMPETENT!!!!!! Good riddence Olsen - you should have gone long ago.
  13. Is Mads Korneliussen any relation to Tim who rode for Hackney? And well done Niels - your time will come
  14. Didn't someone say that he's re-married and moved to Newcastle?
  15. I'm not sure if it was Re-Run Steve, but someone definately did videos in the last couple of years @ Kingsmead.
  16. Congratulations on what you and the lads have achieved so far Middlo and whatever happens in the Final you can be sure that you've done enough already to make us proud. All the best in the final - we know you can do it - you know we can do - and that is success enough because we can take that to greater levels throughout the rest of this season and beyond. Best regards
  17. Bloody hell Steve - SURELY this is it then? 24th May 1986 @ Canterbury Jay Pleece 15 Gary Hopkins 11 Paul Hilton 11 Honey Hone 11 Steve Chambers 11 Tony Mattingley 11 Paul Vance 11 Jimmy Goodsell 9 Lee Paine 9 Andy Steward 5 Martin Phillips 4 Alan Theobald 2 Dave Fletcher 0 Tony Hansford 0 Kevin Pitts 0 Gary Tutton 0 Ian Cox (res) 6 David Mears (res) 0 lmao
