Question for Philip. You've recently introduced a 'Track Spotlight' feature in the international section which I've very much enjoyed reading. The feature (sadly) doesn't appear every week which is a shame. What are your plans for this feature?
-
Chris Louis certainly seems to think so.
-
Yes, Simon Cross rode in 14 meetings for The Heathens that year.

Are Sheffield any closer to bringing in a replacement for Jack Parkinson-Blackburn?
-
It doesn't matter how 'informed' anyone is..........rules are rules.
-
No, if he did ride for two teams in Britain, albeit different leagues, THAT is what would make a mockery of the matter.

Can anyone tell me if the draw for the Semi-Finals of this competition has been made yet please?
-
You really don't get it do you?

Presenters And Announcers
KevH replied to LondonSpeedwayFan71's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the late Ted Sear. He, in my opinion, was the epitome of announcing and never showed any bias. He was, rightly, very well respected in the sport. -
Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 7/6/17
KevH replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Took a knock to the head and suffering from concussion. -
I'm pretty sure that was exactly Lisa's point.
-
Doesn't that, by definition, make you the worst team in the league?
-
Thanks for all the hard work Matt.

I have to agree with what others have written before. Seery's Statistics was probably the most influential part of my (Speedway) youth, waiting for Speedway Star to be delivered and then flipping through the pages to read the latest 'Stats'. A true legend of the sport.........thoughts and condolences to his family and friends. Thank you Bryan.

You stop trying to sound stupid then. -
BF?

Broc Nicol is after a British team. I'd give him a chance and he would become a Scunny asset too.
-
I do take your point, but riders riding for more than one team in any country is a farce and I believe that will kill the sport in Britain more than anything else. Whatever way you look at it, there are choppy waters ahead.
-
Totally disagree, even if the leagues were slightly diluted by a lesser quality rider, it may stop hundreds of fans from walking away from the sport........trust me, this will kill domestic speedway in Britain!!!
-
Well nothing apart from the fact fans are leaving in droves, and it will kill domestic speedway in this country.
-
No idea where that came from

This surprises me as I seem to recall reading somewhere that the moment Colin threw a leg over a speedway bike, the insurance payments would stop. Can't be sure of that though.
