  1. Truely awesome Greg - 2011 World Speedway Champion. A nicer guy in speedway you will not find - thoroughly deserved champion and a great ambassador for the sport. Well done Greg Hancock.
  2. Sorry for Coventry ... yes, sorry for the sport ... yes, sorry for Edward - not if he was aware of the illegal silencer and has been trying to gain an advantage ... I'll wait for the official explanations to follow ... hmmm probably unlikely to have an open and transparent explanation of the situation, after all this is speedway ... Hopefully these events serve as warning to any other riders seeking to gain an advantage illegally ...
  3. Read the reviews of the new GP app and decided to stick with the snowfunk app - £2.99 for 11 GPs is good value imo Cheers BK
  4. Did you miss my wink ladyluck .. It was a post in jest in response to one from starnan which was also good natured. It's no wonder this forum gets a lot of bad press, some people take things far too seriously and I'm afraid it looks from your post that you are one of them. If you stop and think about the ludicrous situation the sport is in at present you can but laugh. Lighten up ladyluck! Atb bk
  5. No mate, we just follow the foul stench that comes from sore losers Happy New Year BK
  6. The 8.01 rule is nonsense and results in "clone" teams which have the same make-up and kills the variety that used to exist with more freedom over team make-up. The only art of picking a good side now is to find one or two 4-point foreigners that are clearly under-valued (ala Andersson and Pawlicki) as the route to win the league. All too predictable now I'm afraid and the main reason why the sport is dwindling further. Pawlicki has been done to death and I see no sense in treading over that old ground again personally.
  7. Not sure any of those count to behonest but one who does is Andreas Jonsson ...
  8. Well, all I can say is that the Bees did declare they were resting Pawlicki which, at the time was within the rules. Whether this is transparent or not is a matter of opinion. I've gone on record as saying they played the rules to their advantage. In terms of postponements, I thought that was at the judgment of the referee in charge?
  9. Gah ... we can go back round the "retrospectively" loop again ... waits for TonyEs post For the record I did hold the same view on the word retrospective until it waws pointed out that averages were ratified at the AGM thus I conceded it was not a retrospective adjustment, simply one which penalised a minority of riders and their clubs. 10. Good grief - why do you fall for this nonsense. All that will result is a non representative poll from those with vested interests in either camp. I'm surprised this thread is still open to be honest.
  11. Artem Laguta, Lindback and Lindgren, with Kolodziej and Zetterstrom defeated in a run-off for 3rd place by Lindgren. Cheers BK
  12. Cheers BK
