Hi All Just to let you know any posts from me from today are my own personal posts/thoughts and are in no way official comments from the Kent Kings Speedway organisation which I no longer represent.

There is access to the main stand and bar via a lift in the main entrance. The main stand is 2 tiered and there is access and viewing on the middle level for wheelchairs or easy seating if required. As far as food is concerned there is Pizza and then the normal Burgers etc from the fastfood outlet. I will check on prices and let you know. Just seen this post. Just to confirm Luke is booked to ride in the individual meeting, and was never booked to ride for Kent against Wimbledon.

Todays Meeting is OFF and has been rearranged for next Monday 16th. Silver Ski Championship now Monday 23rd.

Boxall - suspected fractured elbow Kingston - suspected broken rib Compton - pulled his shoulder, in extreme pain. I was not there so can't comment on the track but if HalifaxTiger was raising concerns then as an independent person at the track I would take his comments over the home promoter! I have now seen photos of the "track", for anyone who has critised Central Park this season or the bad old days at Mildenhall when the "blue groove" appeared after a couple of heats of the PL meetings and then we rode CL meetings afterwards, you have seen nothing compared to what these pictures show of today.

Please note the cancelled meeting against Coventry from last night has been rearranged for next Monday, 12th August and replaces the Wimbledon meeting. I will try and find out from the promotion the rearranged date for the Wimbledon fixure as soon as I can. I am sorry for any inconvience.

Not intriguing at all. I wanted to ask AJ is King specific questions regarding his experience, and as is right and proper this was done via PM. Now he has replied, i will take his comments to the promotion.

We are aware who Jim the Whipper is, and have been for some time, and its fair to say, no Adam does not take any notice of him. As anyone who reads my posts knows I am all for the freedom of speech that this forum gives people, even those who "hide" behind tag names and have a hidden agenda. But of course it also gives us the right to treat these posts with the contempt they deserve, which trust me, we do. On a seperate note, great to see Dave Mason putting some laps in last night.

Happy to post some comments on the previous few posts. Gustix - its not my opinion, its a fact. Gammy73 - yes indeed we are working on looking at sponsorship for the air fence, early indications are that we will be able to sell "panels" to local companies and some have already taken us up on the offer. We are also looking for some fund raising ideas over the rest of this season. With regards to when/if the Kings go into the PL there is a business plan in place, and this is reviewed periodicially. There are a number of factors to consider, some mentioned already, some not, but this will be decided by Mr Cearns. Hope that helps. Regards Nikko

As a club we have a number of ways of keeping our fans up to date and listening to feedback from them and other people which are very popular. I fear Damon may be correct and that for meeting topics at least the BSF is no longer the place people go to.

Very pleased to confirm David Mason is our new official Team Coach and will be we working with the lads on their racing, mechanical setups etc.

Thanks for the recent comments, just one point about the website. Yes I am aware that David still appears on the website, although it has also been updated with our new riders and a new team photo will be taken. David features on the website as he was originally used to promote and market the club, and I see no need to change something that has worked well for the club as after all you could end up changing the website branding every week if the rider picked were to be replaced. The website will during the new year be revamped with next year’s branding once the National League conference has taken place but for this season we will continue to use the style etc that we have used since we launched which our fans identify with. Im not going to go into precise figures but Mondays crowd, although down on previous weeks, was still very healthy and yes it was a lot more than 58! The guess of 450 was close but still too low. At one point I counted more than 58 in the Bar. We have worked very hard spreading the word, and continue to do so. We are pleased with the crowds we have been getting, the two Bank Holidays were fantastic, but will continue to try to find more supporters. Regards Nikko
