Oh no does that mean that a certain 'HalifaxTiger' is going to get the shorts out again Cant stand that 2 weeks running, its enough to put you off going to speedway full stop.
-
Its fair to say that Aaron is looking forward to continuing his good start to the season and to warm up for tomorrows Mildenhall meeting at KL. Mark is looking forward to his first speedway meeting of the season (still cant believe no one picked him in their starting line ups) Dan is certainly taking the meeting seriously and drove from Kent up to Mildenhall for a second half ride on Sunday so he could test an engine ready for tonight. Good luck, and a safe meeting, to all and hello to my old mate "Stressed"

Good luck to all involved at West Row today. Hope their putting alot of water down this morning so it doesnt become a dust bowl this afternoon. Its going to be a very difficult first meeting for the new Fen Tigers with Dudley already having a couple of meetings under their belt and Barrie is flying at the moment and will be a very good guest at No 1. I hope the crowd get behind the lads, Im sure they will, but remember that Jack is coming back from a couple of years out, Danny & Lewis are starting their first full seasons, Daniel and Aaron didnt have full seasons last year for different reasons. Good luck to Rob as well in his first meeting as Team Manager. See you all this afternoon

Asbo is really looking forward to riding for the Fen Tigers this season. P&P went very well and was well worth the trip up from Kent. Also pleased for Danny who also looked good. Roll on Sunday

King's Lynn vs Hackney Hawks
Nikko replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in National League Speedway
Thats doesnt mean you can wear the shorts Looking forward to this one with Nikko Racing riders on both sides and another one planning to do a second half -
Hope the crowds come out in force and good luck to Rob and the team. Be interesting to see who will get the No 2 spot at P&P tomorrow and also who they have as back up for Cameron who I "chatted" to this morning and is still waiting for his paperwork. Not sure what paperwork is needed under this seasons rules but another rider will surely need to be ready to ride at reserve and be in a new declared team in a couple of days if Cameron is not over in time and its already very late for a young lad to come over and be ready to ride. When will the "new" team need to be declared ?? Obviously the No 2 will need to be declared plus potentially a new No 6? Good luck to all involved.

It does seem as though things have gone very silent. Looking at fb Cameron is, i believe, still in Aus and there is no mention of when he is coming over. No updates on the new official Fen Tigers website since 24th March but I assume everything is in place for P&P Monday when hopefully the last rider will be found.

Mildenhall will not have a better chance to see the good times again than this season. Best of luck to everyone involved, the fans deserve a good season.

Obviously I too would have chosen Mark and its pathetic that he doesnt have a team place this season but he's keeping fit and getting plenty of laps in to keep sharp and who knows the Fen Tigers may still have a Baseby in their starting lineup, in Aaron. With regards to Jack and the events that took place on his last visit, I am sure it will be difficult for anyone who was there forget it, I know I never will, but everyone has to give Jack a chance. On 8.30 it is a risk but hopefully for the Fen Tigers fans he will show that he can ride West Row and will be back to his best. With regards to Ollie, Ipswitch and Mildenhall are his past, Kings Lynn are now his future and I am sure he will improve again this season.

Aaron has been invited to P&P and is currently seeing if he can get the time off work.
-
It isnt, the BSPA website has not removed Ollie from the team. They have about 4.4ish left.

Fen Tigers legend Robert Henry is returning to Mildenhall as the club's new team manager (see official site for full details) It will be an honour to work with Mr Mildenhall Speedway- THE legend of West Row.

Thanks for the postitive comments so far. What do you think of the new logo? Regards Nikko

Quick question, looking at Jacks NL averages and PL averages I cannot work out where 8.30 comes from. Can anyone explain? Regards Nikko

Mildenhall Speedway are pleased to announce that Jack Hargreaves is the next rider to join the Fen Tigers line-up. Returning after a two-year break Jack is very excited about the prospect of riding at Mildenhall. On BSPA site

No Phil he didnt although he did come over last season, stayed down in the west country and, if I remember rightly, had a try out for Weymouth. Leigh is now back in Australia and in fact got engaged this week Update: Leigh will be back in the UK in the summer so you may see him in 2nd half action at Mildenhall

Like the look of that team, especially with 4 Nikko Racing riders in it To be fair, I must say that as at this morning neither Aaron or Mark Baseby have received ANY phone calls from ANY promotions for this season . They seem to be the forgotten duo when it comes to promoters/team managers putting their teams together this season. There are still some places available at clubs but it could be that both lads will concentrate on Grasstrack this season if no offers come in. Nikko

Hi What happened to the Tamworth Saxons?

With respect waco local sponsors want exposure within their area. I fully appreciate some sponsors do move with riders, for example, I have confirmed to Barrie that I will honour my sponsorship for him this season, but many dont. Yes the sponsors should respect a riders wishes where he riders but at the same time any rider should respect that sponsors, especially local ones, may not wish to sponsor them once they move. At the end of the day most sponsors hope to gain business from their sponsorship therefore sponsoring a rider in your area makes more business sense than sponsoring someone riding outside your area.
