  1. Actually Jeff unless you were there and have wasted in excess of £500 I doubt you do know how i feel. Yes I do expect seetickets to answer the phone and yes i do expect them answer emails is that unreasonablle. I asked for thoughts of those who were similarty affected not smart alec responses. I went through all this at Ullevi Actually you are wrong as Visa will get involved and get the refund for you I am being reimbursed 200% ???? Are you for real. 2 x tickets 2 x hotels 2 x tanks of petrol 3 x days off work....need I continue Thanks for your interest though Jeff really helpfull
  2. Hello to everybody who was ripped off at the German GP. I arrived home on sunday night and read the Bellamy statement advising people to contact the ticket agency. For two days I have phoned different numbers at Seetickets and have constantly been met with a recorded message stating that there was no operator available and referring me to their website I have emailed customer services at two different addresses and had no response only acknowledgements of the emails I have emailed BSI and got a postmaster failure message back This redirected me to speedway@img.com I have also had that come back as a postmaster failure Can I just ask am I alone in this type of response or have others had a similar experience or has anyone actually been able to contact these people. I have as I see it two other options...contacting my credit card company to get a refund through them or Small claims court Any feedback would be appreciated Harry
  3. I'd love to get hold of that pratt Bellamy. When we arrived at 5PM there was obviously something wrong as the place was so quiet. When we eventually got to the stadium there were three Local Lads acting as security staff behind the turnstyles and in broken English we were told that the meeting was off. We were handed a press statement in German along with Shalke FC's phone number...Nothing for non German speakers. So they couldn't even be bothered to organise that. The BSI IMG pratts had obviosly cleared off much earlier the cowardly lowlifes. I have tried in vain to contact seetickets as I am being told to contact them via the website and of course they don't answer the emails either Not sure what to do now other than go to Barclaycard to block the payment and get the money back that way and they can stick the GP tickets where the sun don't shine
  4. Just a little side issue Just how do you get your money back let alone the "free tickets" for next year"? I have emailed see tickets...no response I have phoned see tickets and there is no one available I have used other phone numbers on their website and the phone just rings Seems that getting the money back etc is going to be a pain After the aborted Ullevi meeting I should have learned a lesson I suppose
  5. Great meeting well done to Tai Felt that Jason Bunyan was really fast and unlucky not to have a go in the final. Big crowd with committed riders makes the ELRC look like a joke
  6. Not sure what this has to do with Rye House and their lack of communication. They provide the track and surely it's the rider or his committee that provide the rest. His responsibility as if no one turns up it is he who will suffer. By the inclusion of Stuart Robson he has probably put 500 on to the gate
  7. Look I supprt Rye and watch Tai every week and in my humble opinion he is a million miles away from the GP. He has yet to fulfill his undoubted promise and who is to say he actually will. Holder on the other hand is surely ready but I am really sick of this wildcard rubbish. Done to give a little extra flavour for the home fans at the GP it does stop riders who are keen enough to follow the qualifying route. Yes it is harsh when a rider gets injured midway through the season and fails to get through but thats life. I do wonder if this was in the Woffinden camps minds when he chose to be British instead of an Aussie. His path to the GP's is more certain considering neither Harris nor Nicholls deserve another crack. With Holder the next in the pecking order had Tai chosen to be an Aussie he simply wouldn't have been considered. Oh the politics of our sport
  8. Checked my Nationwide credit card and I got nearly 31 Koruna Still bad compared to previous years but the Nationwide credit card has decent rates and no commission on purchases which for me were Hotel Travel tickets in Prague and food so the card does save a bit rather than buying koruna from Post Office Amex etc. And no I don't work for them or are sponsored by them
  9. William Hill betting for this meeting is 2/5 Denmark 11/4 Australia 8/1 Sweden 14/1 Poland At those odds I won't have a bet but I have a fancy for the Swedes.
  10. I shall be there with the missus ....I hope the "turnstile" arrangements are a bit better than last year at the standing entrance could have been a mini Hillsboro last year....and yes no rain thank you
  11. Shame about Russia Would have like to have seen Emil again....FIM should have forseen this and are almost as big a joke as the BSPA
  12. How about JERUSALEM...Ah but we are Team GB or are we? The riders seem to think we are England. Sums us up at the moment we don't even know what our country is called. If I was watching the telly and was Scots or Welsh I would be well miffed. Seems we should get our name right and build from there
  13. Well said JT agree with everything. I looked into the pits and at least Scott seemed own and out not like the mediocre British GP 2007 winner on his home track laughing and joking. The presentation, playing of the national anthem etc was really crap. Empty seatin the stands...charge the earth in this ecconomic climate what do they expect I couldn't fault Olly and he tried his heart out. Bridger and King were mentioned but would they have done better I doubt it. Sweden surprised me and Davidsson and Nermark for me were much better than I thought they would be. I expect thursday to be different and nothing short of double points scores from the top three would be acceptable. Take what we can from Eddie and Tai but I have a feeling that as Rye House supporter he will set the place alight. I hope Olly and Simon are both at Vojens and we live or die as a team
  14. Words of advice for Chris Harris Drop the stupid inssulting Nickname Remember form states you are a below average GP rider and badly need to improve at this level Forget Cardiff 07 on a dodgy track Don't be seen laughing in the pits when your team was being decimated
  15. So why did Lynch say anything about about who would ride at Vojens? Why did he say we can't win the Coventry meeting? In my opinion the BSPA have gone for the cheap option and gone for some bloke who once threw some money at promoting. No we needed an ex rider who could motivate the riders not this pillock True Nicholls Stead and Harris were complete rubbish and only Allen and Richardson seemed to give an honest performance
  16. Jim Lynch ...the great motivator Already telling Simon Stead and Oliver Allen that even if they both got maximums at Coventry they would not ride at Vojens We won't win the meeting. Well that's a great confidence booster This bloke is a massive mistake but I hope we do well despite his misgivings
  17. QUOTE (Rob B @ Jun 18 2008, 07:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No just buy them on the day.Thanks Rob
  18. One of the best testimonials I have been to . Started on time well presented and meeting over all within 2 1/4 hrs...spot on. Great to see PC having a spin and also Sam and Ronnie out the enjoying themselves. Great organisation to have a heat twenty with three unbeaten riders. Nice to see Lawrence Hare as well as Garry Stead. Agree with 40-38 the Aussie commentator really added to the entertainment...sign him up sky! All round a really enjoyable day and with a decent crowd I hope Steve went home with a nice profit
  19. Yes both stoke and long eaton. I have to say that i smuggled my kids in via the boot once when times were hard!
  20. I remember parking and rushing in just before the first race for a meeting against Rye House. At the end of the sixteenth heat I rushed out into the car park and couldn't find my car, I spent about twenty minutes looking for it and almost gave up. Went outside the stadium to see if I could find a policeman and it struck me that I was looking in the wrong car park felt such a plonker but not as much as the following year as I stopped in Long Eaton for petrol and promptly put deisel in the bloomin car....AA to the rescue! Missed the meeting though
  21. Yep I remember Gordon Parkins lifting Christer's hand aloft boxing referee fashion prior to the meeting My favourite Hammer a bit rough and ready at the time but how he had matured bu the time he got to Poole ...a great entertainer Another of my memories was the bloke who came into the car park inside the stadium astride a massive Harley Davidson. Always attracted a lot of interest
  22. Track Custom House Race Night Tuesday...leave home just as the Coronation Street music started Teams West Ham V The 'orible 'awks Promoters Dave Lanning / Uncle Len Captains Ken Mckinlay / Les The Atom bomb Score 65 - 13 to the 'ammers Magic moment....seeing uncle Len crying All announced by Good old Ted Sear the best there has ever been
  23. I heard this is not that well attended so can I assume that no tickets need to be pre booked? Thanks
  24. I had major problems this year booking the tickets online. Previous years has been ok but this time i tried four times and each time my credit card was turned down. Imagine my horror a week later to find that the money had gone from my account FOUR TIMES. After a lot of hassle the bank reimbursed the transactions. I complained to the Agents and they sorted it out at their end but blamed my bank....My bank blamed the agents. Got the tickets in the end. Next year I'll just turn up and pay at the door which is easy anyway
