Back to the meeting - I stayed home to watch it on telly, and throughly enjoyed the meeting. I even got my dad, who claims he doesnt like speedway, to sit and watch the whole thing. He only ever watches 1 or 2 heats with me, so credit to Kings Lynn for putting on a meeting which a non speedway fan actually wanted to sit and watch! Although, not sure he was watching for the speedway, or just the start girls!! Well done to Team GB!!

hello??!! I am here u know!! HenryW- I think it was made known that there was alcohol on our coach, its your own fault for making the wrong choice of coaches. Rico and I were pleased noone else joined us as it meant more for us SJL - And glasses - what was that all about?! Bit civilised, juice and glasses. Straight from the bottle cap - thats the way to do it!!

We got about £130 on the bus, and did another collection at the airport. Think we hit about £200 in total. WVSH will be able to come on and confirm once its all tallied up and changed to English!

This hostel looks far cleaner and nicer than some I have stayed in. Only problem I spotted is "Silence must be kept at the hostel from 23,00 to 6.00" Not sure if this means there is a curfew. Also, if your a YHA member you get 10% off.

I did see that and wondered if they'd made a mistake about the price?! What do they get for their 1000zl??! Prawn sandwiches and champagne just doesnt seem right for speedway - give me a pint anyday!!
