What a superb event, lots of Stars of yesterday and I felt proud to be amoungst them, great to meet up with Bobby MC and Woodsy after so long. The sign Ivan Mauger painting is going on the studeo wall with pride.! As for Ove, to see his face as he watched the Days Gone By Vol. 8 of Norwich, was worth the trip up on it's own.
-
You may get it from amazon or there is a excellent old record shop in Canterbury high street! Dont forget to see action from Norwich, Days Gone By Vol.8 has 30 mins on it Ken

What happened to KM videos are they no more? Can there back catalogue still be purchased or do they no longer hold the originals? i would imagine they have some really good stuff from early 80's <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Paul said he dumped all the odd matches and only kept World finals, but I doubt he'd release them for a while. probably on e-bay where he can make loads of dosh - not that he needs it! There are still a few around, but amazing really how quality has changed compared with todays productions.
-
The BBC will tell you they haven't kept it, but they do in fact have it, I have a few (very few) old Will Internationales but poor quality to these days. Would myself love to see King Cinder once more!. Funny really was talking to Paul Bonner from the old KM video's on Saturday, he was saying that someone told him, the Days Gone By series had his footage from KM, but I am pleased to say they DON'T, copyright is a very touchy subject and it's not worth it, Days Gone By have nothing but pure old cine film from the lofts of fans around the country, most never ever even seen before other than by the owners.

The posting immediately above this one refered to your add in Backtrack about Vols 1-4 to being available on one tape. Do we assume fom this reply that this option no longer applies? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To keep the quality, we now restrict 3 to a tape or dvd for The cost of each is £15 +£1.50 P&P or 3 on one dvd/tape for £40, all 9 for £100 inc; P&P. see http://www.freewebs.com/t2tv/ for full details. I would certainly reccomend the park too, have spent many hours there with my now not so little girl and my loving wife, before setting off to Rye House, have quite a few bits of old cine film which we can run, as well as some of the Days Gone By dvd's (6 now and still building!). We will film the re-union, so please make sure you have your ols scarfs, banners, programme boards etc with you and be prepared for the mic slipping under your noses!

Yes, it was a teacher training college. Keswick Hall, Norwich. But I didn't like teaching so I never actually took it up, preferring the academic atmosphere of The British Museum instead! Good news about the book. See you at High Beech? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> is it the 6th Feb? or 13th?.
-
Thats a nice story Norb, I take it though you were a teacher, as going to college in 1965 would have made you....... only joking mate. Will hopefully be meeting up with Reg Trott soon, meeting Gordon Kennett this weekend. The book is building..... Ken
