  1. Latest news is that Sergei have broken some ribs and punctured a lung, but other than that should be ok.
  2. Anyone has any news on how Sergei is doing ?
  3. To exclude Hlib for the rest of the meeting after his crash with Puszakowski was farcial. Yes it was a bad crash, but riders must be allowed to make mistakes without being excluded from a meeting. I saw the meeting on TV. Puszakowski was on the outside, Hlib just inside of him. Going into the first turn Puszakowski had made the drop on Hlib but they touched going into the turn which made Hlib loose control, going straight taking Puszakowski with him into the fence. Hlib actually flew over the fence. Puszakowski btw walked unaided to the pits (as did Hlib), but looked to collapse after a few minutes and was taken to hospital with neck injuries. These things happen in speedway, and I really don`t think Hlib flew over the fence on purpose. The only reason for excluding him from the meeting would be on medical advice. The only think to come out of such a thing is that we, the spectators, is robbed of watching one of the riders that we have paid to see. Other than that it was a pretty good meeting, with a very deserved winner. Even if Protasiewicz had ridden in the re-run he would`nt have beaten Sledz.
  4. When I spoke to Rune after the incident he stated that the crash was his fault. He came into the turn with too much speed, and when Kasprzak leaned into him (as well as Ulamek on the inside was entering the turn very slow) and touched his bike he lost his balance and had nowhere to go but straight. But the point is that reactions that followed, especially from Kasprzaks second mechanic (the guy in the blue overalls) should NOT happen on any track. As Mad Potter said; what if Rune had serious injuries, just a small adjustment on his body could leave him paralyzed or dead. Point is; this can not be allowed to go by unaddressed. Attacks on riders who just have crashed must not be customary, one day it will go terribly wrong !
  5. Are those all 50 ccm riders ? I have never seen so many speedway-riders on one list in my life !
  6. They both kicked Rune Holta while he was stuck under the airfence after a crash with Krzystof Kasprzak. You can see the incident here: http://svt.se/svt/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=21874 (under "Senaste Video" on the right side of the page chose "Motor" in the drop-down list. Then chose "Speedwayvideo" and then "Speedwaystjerna överfallen under polsk ligamatch") AFAIK Kasprzak and Balinski also has recieved big fines for their actions.
  7. Weeeell...........rumors now has it that Robert Kasprzak AND Damian Balinski now both have lost their licence after new video-evidence has surfaced.........
  8. It was a good meeting, but it is never fair when the track is so overly prepared for the home riders. Both Piotr Protasiewicz and Rune Holta came out to different heats only to find their startgate overwatered. The track was never watered at all when the home riders where at the gate, and their starting gates was ripped up while the other were kept stone hard and watered as much as possible. But the meeting had a deserved winner, although Tomasz Gollob looked the fastes rider on the night.
  9. But they wouldn`t complain about the referee holding the tapes too long if there was a pre-set time !!! The referee was poor yesterday, but when it comes to holding the tapes he was VERY good. The rules say that all 4 riders shall stay completely still before he releases the tapes. So the riders who are standing still are punished for the crimes of the riders who are moving at the tapes. It is only a matter of time before the riders start using this even more as a tactic, after all you can just move a bit for a second or so, and then stand still, and you are sure the tapes will rise (like Lindbäck tried in his first heat) Anyone noticed how far Hampel was from the tapes in every heat ? Poor starting marshall..........
  10. Some big errors on the bonus points in the results between Torun and Czestochowa. On the top of my head; Rune lost to Crump in his first heat; so no bonus there, but he never lost to Jagus who also has too many bonuses. Stein
  11. Andersson qualified by more second places than Messing (who is reserver for the next round) Andersson 3-2-2-2-0 = 9 Messing 2-2-1-1-3 = 9
