Was there any delays with production this week I have yet to receive this weeks yet but had other post.

Probably try and spin the signing of Drew Kemp as having unfinished business. Something must have changed otherwise it is a big mess up allowing Harris to move on when his average would be quite handy now. Big own goal not having a full team in place when best season ticket offer was on. I know of at least five who refused to buy them without knowing the team and now they will just pay and go so unlikely to attend every match and the stadium will also miss out on the secondary spend. I suspect they are not the only ones sadly.

The break even figure for costs is around £71 per ticket based on ticket sells of 7000. Double it to two events of 7000 then that drops to about £50 per head. This shows how much sponsors and TV money are subsidising the sport. Grants for Cardiff were about £200k a year from the Welsh Government. I seem to remember Manchester Council loaned up front £133k to allow SWC back when the stadium first opened. Hosting SGP isn’t cheap. Just because it’s moved from Cardiff many of the costs haven’t changed.

Belle Vue grand stand seats will be at least £95. They have to be to cover the licence and additional costs.

Actually looking at the lack of top end strength across the other teams apart from Poole I don’t see many better. I am sure Glasgow will also be strong if the rumours are true. I tend to agree Knudsen is potentially the weakest link based on recent seasons, but he has undoubted talent. Considering the loss of Scott threw team building out the window it’s not a bad line up. Mitchell at reserve is a great signing for the future. The four Aussie boys should be great for each other. Like most championship teams there will be the odd hiding away from home but they will win most of the home matches so will keep the majority of the punters happy. All in all a sensible team construction considering the issues with Scott.
