We are first timers this year flying from Luton on the Friday, train to Pardubice and stopping in the Hotel Zlata Stika returning Monday. Anyone else doing the same???

At last someone talks sense. We will never be any good at Speedway or Football as a country until we stop letting the foreigners benefit from our facilities. I know I am a Lynn fan and probably biased but the team spirit seen in the team with Rob Lyon as Manager was great to see and you only have to look at Lynn's results this year to see that he does not get it right every time. Yes if Chris had pulled off the joker we would have got a medal but we didnt. Lets get over it and get behind the team for next year instead of moaning about what might have been.

Highly enjoyable tour with Eurorider Got to agree excellent weekend with very good company. If anyone reading this has never been get the dates for next year in your diary and contact Ron at Eurorider You won't be disappointed

Totally agree Lucifer Sam. Having suffered Telford and been less than impressed we are going to Assen in March for the 4th time and will be going again and again. The racing is to be seen to be believed. Makes some of the shale speedway riders look like absolute whimps. To see a rider come to the tapes with a false leg and race as hard as the others was unbelievable. These riders really do have their brains removed before they race. Ron - you should try it you would not be dissappointed!!!

Totally agree 5 Furrow. We had a great time and thanks for letting us join your tour if only as guests this time!!! A pleasure to meet you BFD and many thanks for the present. Our local hoteliers have let out a sigh of relief now they have know you really are back in Aus!! I will never forget the tale of the peeing dog and the many laughs we had. A perfect weekend even the weather could not spoil. Hope that we all see you again soon either over here or maybe over there.

We are looking at going for the third time next year. Travelled on our own last year but found it difficult. Any chance you will be open for intruders on your trip?? Which way will you go - ferry from Harwich???

Not that cheap but close to the track we always stay at the Pyramida. this wll be our fourth year. Short tram ride and if have one over the top you could walk it. Cheap beer and food across the road. Excellent breakfast and some of the riders use it if that makes a difference. Cant wait.

Not sure if there is a thread for this but if there is I cant find it? Can anyone tell me the dates for the Assen Ice Racing for 2008????? I know its in March but would like to know the dates.

Word from the practice in Poland is that Scott was there and looked very quick so fingers crossed.
