  1. We will see how you get on with Cook next season first before that comment about Jye. Hopefully he turns up to every meeeting for you that would be a good start.
  2. Stewart has had him at Leicester last season so he knows what he is getting, only trouble is that in the Premiership now he is a reserve with not much say but number 1 in Championship where he has alot more say plus responsibility as he will be No1. Keep his head in it and interested in speedway great he is still a fantastic rider but for the last few years he has gone missing at certain points through the seasons and certainly let Workington and himself down with a few no shows last season.
  3. Totally agree with your views,he was out of order that night and the fans and promotion deserved better, He also pulled out of the Ben Fund meeting and never even bothered to even show up. Craig says in his statement without injuries we could have made the final, we were never going to beat that Poole team so the team managed without him at the end of the season just fine with decent guests. Great rider when his head is in it but every season at some point he goes missing which is fustrating for the fans and promotion. Berwick the latest club to give him a go next.
  4. Think there is more to this than is out there. Hearing different cracks.
  5. Celina can certainly ride the bike it's her gating it's terrible she goes up rather than forward most races. Then keeps pace generally with the others. Sam has no confidence no point carrying him give someone else a go.
  6. Max Perry dropped from Poole will beat Sam easily and Celina
  7. Reserves failed yet again for Workington changes have to be made, look at Poole doing well but ruthless when it comes to replacing riders. Comets rightly so stuck with the team in the NDL last year but this is different Sam has to be dropped he is riding terrible and looks the worst rider in the league. Junior riders coming in and beating him easily. Celina to not been good enough her 4pt average must have dropped alarmingly and won't go back up. If Workington had just one half decent reserve they were in for a shout this season but not with these two.
  8. Just noticed Pickering pulled out of Edinburgh meeting tonight after a fall.
  9. Imagine if Workington had one reserve scoring ? These two are unfortunately gonna keep dragging the team down. Brilliant top 5 everyone doing more than there bit.
  10. Is Celina riding in this meeting or have Workington a guest
  11. That was tough to take in the end, we riding with two reserves holding us back every week (sorry but it's true). Ht1 decision to exclude Cook was an awful decision from the ref and Harris as well as he rode only got a max because of Tate's engine failure on 4th turn last lap. Well done Comets very unlucky tonight.
  12. What ? It looks a gentle breeze 14ºC in Workington right now blue sky and yes it's windy but not strong winds, this is a strange call off.
  13. Can not understand this call off looking at a few forecasts. Think the promotion were just looking at headlines 70mph winds. Workington forecast was 30mph winds with possible 50mph gusts. Not much rain forecast either. They did the same with the BenFund meeting called that off early and weather was absolutely fine on the day. 30mph wind in Cumbria is the norm.
