I think it was a fiver in - just awaiting BSPA okay but don't expect any problems!
-
Should have a line up shortly.
-
Kyle Newman and Joe Haines out injured and Jason Garrity now racing for Belle Vue tonight. The GB team still has depth. USA Team: Kenny Ingalls, Mikey Buman, Austin Novratil, Russell Green, Eddie Castro, Rocco Scopellite, Michael Raines.
-
Heathens wrap their season as they began with American visitors - this time its versus GB Under 21s with a Heathens flavor. Should be a good one!
-
Jayne, Richard, Zoe and myself put a LOT of work into todays race that got cancelled. The riders on the team are fully made aware before we come over about rain offs. Buxton did all they can to get this on - we have a great relationship with the Mosses and we will be back in the hills soon!
-
Looks like todays race at Buxton will be likely restaged at Leicester on October 16th at 3pm. Handicap and Scratch Racing - more details when I have it.

American Style Speedway Hits Uk!

Your loss mate - a field of heatleaders would make handicap racing not the spectacle - and the likes of Castro, Raines, Green, and Scopellite are complete showmen. This will be entertainment with a capital E! Jason Garrity will wear #1 - if he and Castro are in the Handicap Main Event its gonna be wild!! -

He wants to. He was all set to join us on the tour but then an extra round was added to the Flat Track Series on October 16. He may race the new track in Vegas in November. -

If only an October tour was simple! When you factor in rain offs, backlogged fixtures, play offs, cup runs, etc an October schedule is a nightmare to organize. It changes on a daily basis - club wants you, then doesn't, or needs to change date etc etc. Ideally we race at both Buxton and Leicester but ultimately the tracks tell us when to come, not vice versa. -

The USA will be providing 8 of the 16 riders - I'm sure a bunch of Hitman riders will fill the other spots with the rest being filled elsewhere. -
I am very pleased to announce that the American Touring Team in co-ordination with Buxton Speedway will be holding a very unique race event on October 9th. Speedway in America is very different to the UK in that 95% of events are Individuals. The traditional American race format produces excellent entertainment and has rarely been used in the UK. This is all about to change! On October the 9th the American tourists will join with a number of the Hitmen regulars and some other NL level riders as Buxton goes American for the day. There will be two Trophies up for grabs - Handicap and Scratch. For handicap racing each rider has a designated yardage handicap for the night - the rookies will start from the gate, reserves off of 10 yards, second strings of 20 and heatleaders off 30. For Scratch, all riders start from the tapes in traditional format. 16 riders will compete - come first and second in your heat, you go to the semi. Come first and second in the semi, you go to the Main. Third and fourth - your are eliminated! Anything can happen. The Handicap Main will be 6 laps. 17 races will grace the card and each rider gets 3 to 6 races. A great afternoon of racing is promised - I know many UK fans would love to come to the USA and see our style of racing - well, October 9th is the chance to see it in the UK! Any potential sponsors can message me or talk to Jayne. This event will put the fun back into a sport that can get way too serious! Email me as needed - dreamteamspeedway@sbcglobal.net
