We are staying at the Quality Hotel near to Cologne Airport. Three nights for 387 euros for four people.

Yes they are coming over in April and will be at Buxton on the 15th. I also understand that they will be riding at Weymouth, Plymouth and Scunthorpe. I'm sure that Scunny Stag can let you know all the details when they are finalised.

Thanks f-s-p. Have phoned ticnet who have informed me that we can pick tickets up at the tourist bureau in Eskilstuna. Lets hope the rain doesn't spoil it

Does anyone have any idea where you pick the tickets up from and what time practice starts?

We are going Fly on Friday from Luton and then back on Sunday and off to Mildenhall.

I would expect that you would need to pass the course/test before a licence will be issued. Scatygirl if you want to ring them the number is 01788 565603.

Scatygirl - you need to apply to the Speedway Control Bureau, ACU House, Wood Street, Rugby, CV21 2YX. The new regulations do state that you can have a 500 licence at 14 but you must complete a competency test or an assessment course if you haven't already done one. As I understand it if you are already licensed for a 500 then you will continue to be so regardless of age.

They did - I had mine in December.

Would just like to point out that this has not come about 4 weeks before the start of the season. We received official notification in December and it was certainly talked about prior to that. It may not seem ideal for some but there are a lot of concerns from various people from officials to medics regarding the youngsters on 500's.

Bryn - don't think James suffered any serious injuries as he remained at the meeting but didn't ride again. Sam had to go to hospital with a suspected broken ankle/leg. Vince said he would let us know how they got on.

The KOC Final for the Academy League is indeed at Buxton on Sunday after the meeting against GB U18s.
