  1. I'm sure Emil will be pretty happy with that. Get your cheque book out daddy. As for the gp, yet another round towards the world gating championships. On top of that the atmosphere was the flattest its ever been in my opinion. The entertainment was so bad it was almost an insult. The sound system must have cost about a tenner to put together. On a positive note, Jason Crump was amazing! He didnt have to flight too hard with anybody as he was so quick form the gate, but still, to go unbeaten all night shows why he deserves this championship. The Bomber and Nicki decidions could both have been all 4 back in my opinion. Yes there was contact, but why are they so reluctant to give 'first bend bunching' in gps lately? And finally on Emil. I loved watching him in the first few gps, but after watching him having a go at Nicki last time out and then the fight with Scott i've completely lost any respect for him, and so have most of the rest of the crowd judging by the boos. I'm no fan of either Scott or Nicki, but neither of them did anything wrong. Quite possibly will enjoy the 2010 gp from right where i'm sitting now
  2. From Plymouth Speedway Forum: can confirm that Nathan is ok. At the time of his accident there was the suspicion that he might have fractured his pelivs. However, following x-rays no fractures / breaks were found.
  3. The only problem theres every been is Scotty being jealous that all of a sudden Bomber was better than him, won a gp and continues to be more successful. Same reason he rode Emil into the fence last night, whereas the old Scott Nicholls would have said something then ridden off back to the pits. His toys spend more time out if the pram than in it
  4. Wont be arriving until about 8pm so no practice for us either
  5. Why people seem to want to shop at services amd pay twice the price for everything is beyond me
  6. Just about every street corner at Cardiff. Especially outside the main entrance to the stadium
  7. We're staying there My sister is at the uni at the moment so we're nicking her room for 2 nights
  8. I would love to see that line up. Our top 5 in my opinion too on current form. But as we all know, Scotty doesnt actually have to achieve anything these days to be 'Britains number one' and 'deserve' to be captain
  9. So through to the semis go: G. Walasek 15 K. Bjerre 13 P. Protasiewicz 13 M. Vaculik 12 R. Gafurov 11 L. Dryml 10 Courtesy of the speedwaylive link above.
  10. A qualifier on the same night as a gp? This sport just gets better and better
  11. I noticed that too. Its the first time i've actually heard one of the Pedersens say their own name. So maybe everyone else was wrong after all
  12. Hilarious What a twit the guy is Edit: Not that i agreed with the exclusion, as he clearly did nothing wrong, but i think everyone is sick of his 'tantrums' by now
  13. Only he could manage that WELL DONE EMIL!!! 2 out of 3 and 2nd in the table, keep it going! (although i agree Pedersen was unlucky to be excluded. Definately a case of reputation going before you there)
  14. There's certainly a few people out there that may call him a clown yes
  15. But the point has already been made that maybe Scott is the best, but of a not so good bunch. So even if he does win on wednesday it doesnt prove that much with regards to being a genuine threat on the world stage. Dont get me wrong, i'd love to see it happen, but i dont believe it can anymore
  16. lol. Well sorry for not studying the results of the past 18 months to give the exact figure But the point i was making is that he never used to be trailing around half a lap behind the leader as he is now
  17. Thats exactly the point i've been trying to make. He's almost going out expecting to fight for 3rd place every heat now, whereas in the past he has at least won some heats through a gp. Confidence is a huge part of anything we do and unfortunately Scotty has very little at the moment. And the only way to get it back is to start winning, even if it is against 'lesser' riders. Who knows, maybe wednesday night's British Final might be just what he needs....
