It was a good meeting, Redcar deserved a point for their efforts, standing on the back straight it looked like Ully did come across Lasse and took his front wheel, but the ref has the final say even if she isn't very good at the job.

In heat 2 Williamson made 2 big mistakes but Konopka still couldn't beat him, then 2 engine failures. After the meeting got beaten by Danny Phillips, hardly inspires you with confidence for the future! Yes the normally 2 big points scorers had off days as well, but Konopka was part of the team so was responsible for the loss!

There was a blue groove after the 15 heats, so it would have made it really slippery if they watered it. There was still a bit of passing though and a couple of good races.

We were standing on the back straight and Olly did get a nudge, not dirty riding by any means, but it was enough to unbalance him enough to fall. We thought it would be all 4 back. Also I was impressed with Kyle Newman, really improved since I last saw him race, and Jack Holder looks promising. Happy with the win though, track was to slick for our riders

I can't believe we have got a 2 week deadline, why hasn't there been anything happening in trying to get sponsorship or commercial activities in since it was known Horton was leaving, why leave everything last minute. Effective marketing doesn't achieve results overnight, it's a ongoing process, it's no good hoping something will come up to save us in such a short space of time.

The score flattered the Panthers, we only had 3 riders capable of beating the Witches. Hall and Dilger were so far behind they were embarrassing, at least Roynon and Barrett had a go even if they weren't very good. This team are shocking!
