  1. I watched this the other night and thought it was rubbish. The camera work was terrible! The track is far too small to make it entertaining
  2. Sitting or standing? I'm hoping to get up there for the WC semi and was looking for some advice on whether to get a seat or take up a place on the terrace. I'll be going up with my girlfriend who is still new to the sport so I'm keen to make it as enjoyable as possible so don't want to end up stood at the back of a 3/4 deep shallow terrace ala Poole 2004 and her not being able to see anything. Can anyone suggest? I can't find any pictures online and the ticket site doesn't show a stadium plan or anything. Cheers DF
  3. When do the programmes get printed up? I'm sure I got mine in advance when I last went, wasn't there some deal by where if you purchased tickets in advance you got a free programme?
  4. Where will everyone be sitting in Cardiff? Im in Row 1 of U8
  5. That's what I was told as well but they are here already
  6. My tickets arrived this morning so that's got me a little bit excited! Anyone else in block U8?
  7. Agreed, they do, but I am pretty certain Poland will walk away with it tonight and confident that they can fend off Nikki and the boys on Saturday. You Poles!
  8. Corals are offering 5/2 on the Poland race-off/Final double. Buying money!
  9. Anyone know if Poland can be backed in a double to win but the race-off and final? I can't access the betting sites in work. Cheers
  10. Booked 2 flights to Poland leaving Luton on the 26 August and returning a week later. Can't go now because I've just moved into a new flat and am completely broke! Anybody interested in them let me know. I will see if I can get my money refunded but if I can't they perhaps one of you would take them off my hands. Info... London Luton To Warsaw (Etiuda Terminal) flight 2347; dep. Fri 26 Aug 16:50 arr. Fri 26 Aug 20:20 Return... Warsaw (Etiuda Terminal) To London Luton flight 2348; dep. Fri 02 Sep 20:50 arr. Fri 02 Sep 22:25 Cheers
  11. On the verge of convincing a speedway virgin to get over to Cardiff in June, can't find any good pictures to show them though. Any help?
  12. Cheers, thats great. Looking at the train website it shows there being more than 1 station in Bydgoszcz, do you know which one is closer to town or does it not matter so much?
  13. Yes, I'll be going. I need to know the name of the train station though as I'll be flying into Berlin and will have to travel from there. Any help?
  14. Cheers chaps. Regarding the stadium, I really only want to know what it looks like, just to get an idea of which part of the ground to stand/sit in and generally just to see if its an old traditional oval shaped terraced arena or a more modern facility. I think our plan is to fly to Berlin from Bristol the day before the meet and head to BTZ the next morning and stay the night there, then move onto Warsaw for a few days and then to Zakopane for the same sort of time, probably go in all for 10/12 days. I've been to ZKP a couple of years back when I was travelling, we had no idea what the place was going to be like we simply just needed to get out of Slovakia and this was the only route by bus. We spent 4 hours at border control but we agreed it was certainly worth it to stumble across this place and I can't wait to go back. Never made it to Warsaw though so I'm really looking forward to that, I have a keen interest in WWII as well so visiting places like this have much more meaning to me then just getting pissed on cheap larger.
  15. Anyone know of a good site where I can see details of the stadium and City of Bydgoszcz in Poland for the GP? The bird wants to go to Poland for her 21st and take in this meet whiles over there but need to know whether the town is worth spending a few days in before booking up in Warsaw and Zakopane. Anyone been there before?
  16. Try Bristol, only 40 minutes away on the train. A return will cost you £11.
  17. Off to Poole in the morning, lets hope the weather keeps up over the weekend and that our boys come Saturday evening have a Trophy to stick in the cabinet! Hope everyone going enjoys it, if you see me don't be frightened about coming over for a chat and a pint, you'll recognise me... I'll be the one with the air horn! Have a good one.
  18. So are you allowed to take your own then? As we'll be standing I don't want to have to keep walking to the bar and losing my spot.
