I just didn't agree with this: "Being in the presence of top riders, seeing how they perform and being given advice should accelerate their progress. The more a rider rides, he has more opportunities to improve." They've been in the presence of top riders for years but if thety haven't got it then they haven't got it and more rides isn't going to make much difference. The way to progress to the top. if good enough, is to progress with confidence through the league structure. I've not seen the format yet so am talking without vital info but I wondered who it has usually worked on? Assume you're a 2006 starter? Yes we are pleased to have speedway. Why haven't the people been coming through the turnstiles? Bearing in mind his previous experiences at the EoES one wonders why he wants more of that? Can't see that much has changed apart from PL might be a cheaper and better option, and that these EoES people might be easier to work with than they were last time around?

And what examples of this usually working would you put forward?

Why H&S gone mad? Other events not wanting speedway to be included? Lack of entrances etc apart from at big events? Seems to be one way in and one way out generally. The EoES is nothing like the huge standalone place it was for those 30 years. Thought we'd tried that, they're not interested.

How could you not understand that? I showed it to Stephen William Hawking CH CBE FRS FRSA and within 48h hours he came back with an answer. It wasn't the right answer but the rulebook even tested his super intelligence! We were quite happy where we were. That hansfan's non attendance confirmed Didn't used to be the case though.We used to run perfectly well at the end of the week during other events. Never understood why it suddenly became a problem?

It's just delayed and will be re-run when Sky are at full strength. Apparently they were going to stick with it but the seats got too slippery with the rain and it became an issue when Russell slipped off his seat after 10 minutes. Although several junior members had hit the deck earlier in the meeting, when someone of his experience does that then it's clearly a H&S issue and it is impossible to continue although the result was still in doubt.

Perhaps from now on you should ask whether it's a programme printed for that evening's meeting, that'll solve your problem.

In the world of shark infested custard I wouldn't particularly trust any of them to be honest and they are quite capable of collective incompetence so direct your grief appropriately.
