Taken from GP Site .......... Jonas Davidsson has been called up to replace the injured Mikael Max as the wild-card at the FIM Scandinavian Grand Prix at Malilla on August 13. Max is out for the rest of the season after breaking his left thigh and left wrist in a crash in Sweden last week. Davidsson, recently crowned as Swedish Under-21 champion when he defeated both Antonio Lindback and Fredrik Lindgren, will make his Grand Prix debut at Malilla. Im somewhat surprised at this... i would of thought Peter Karlsson would of been Mikael's replacement

Smolinski, 20 (pictured), leads a young German side comprising of Christian Hefenbrock, Rene Schafer, Thomas Stange and Mathias Schultz. The Germans, who qualified by winning the preliminary round in Italy, face the daunting task of pitting themselves against defending champions Sweden, former winners Australia and Poland in event two of the SWC at Eskilstuna in Sweden on Tuesday August 2. Smolinski admits: "It is going to be very tough for us but we will be giving it our best shot." Germany didn't qualify for the finals last year and finished bottom of their group at Holsted in Denmark in 2003 with 10 points.

Im flying into Västerås and then driving down. Cheap flights with Ryanair - £34 return! Im pretty sure there will be a nearer airport that flies from the UK.
