  1. I thought it would be a good way of keeping on track with venue records, If I were to post them and ask you all from your tracks to check the record / date / holder, and update it as you would update the "confirmed signings" topic before the season starts!!! I'll keep it up to date when a track record is broken and if someone notifies me about it in reply!!!! Cheers in advance ELITE LEAGUE Belle Vue - National Speedway Stadium: Track Length (m) TBC, Record set xx.xx by TBC on xx xxx xx. 2. Really can't be bothered to read 27pages of bitchin', so if anyone would be courteous enough to answer me this simple question.. What happens to Peterborough when this little stunt is all over?
  3. Rune Holta is about as Polish as my left Scottish toe-nail...
  4. Hmmm, interesting... Think though, you may find a woman was involved in this little fracas...
  5. End of an Era and a dismal season for Bydgoszcz, as it's announced that 2011 will see 3GP's in Poland - at Leszno, Torun and Gorzow... No place for Gollob's back yard next year - those travelling to Poland next weekend, should make the most of it, as the next 5yrs will be a Bydgoszcz wilderness:( http://speedwaygp.com/en/newsdetail/a1992
  6. Alive and Kicking!

  7. Echo these sentiments... The line-up seems good enough to go to and there should be - weather permitting - some cracking racing... But where the hell, do they get £25 admission fee from??? Ridiculous... I for one, am out!
  8. Can anybody give me an address of the stadium in Abensberg? I live close to Frankfurt which is only 3hrs away so considering getting along to this meeting!!! Support the Brits!!!! And just to confirm it is 2pm on Saturday 22nd Sept? Cheers...
  9. Sorry Lunchy nothing personal...... It's just that it's really good to hear that Rooboy is carrying on from where he lef off this last year. Sounds like Matthew Wethers is gonna be a reserve to beat in the PL next year also if he can keep on producing that sort of form.....
  10. Rory Schlein has just WON the South Australian Championship. He won all five heats and the final. The final result was Rory, Shane Parker, Rusty Harrison, Kevin Doolan. Scorers in the qualifying heats were RORY 15, Parker 14, Harrison 13, Doolan 11, Woodifield 11, MATTHEW WETHERS 11. Matthew was third in the run-off for the last final place. TAKEN FROM THE EDINBURGH CHATZONE.... Go the Rooboy - Getting one over on Glasgow without a wheel being turned in this country.....
  11. Many thanks, will start going through them and let everyone know. (Not quite over the wall, give or take 5 miles)!!!!
  12. Ok, not quite sure how you link old copies of speedway stars etc to irn bru..... but never mind! It'll take a few weeks to sort through all the old copies etc my father has - they're all hidden in the darkest depths of the attic - don't go there!!!!
  13. My father has copies of old Speedway star's, News and stars etc. etc. dating back to the mid-late 60's early 70's. Does anybody know if these would be classed as collectables and if so where we could take them?
