Nothing to do with the amount they pay the riders. I fact we are one of the lowest at payi g riders but this makes sure all riders are paid on time. Also I have it on good authority that all riders retained from last year took a pay cut this year. Problem with belle vue is that the overheads is massive. First of all we pay massive rent. All though they got the rent lower that what Gordon we paying. Then we pay adrian Smith and lemon. And I bet there on a decent wage. Security we HAVE to pay for. And this is probably the most expensive part. All though recently I notice we have made the security company we use an official sponsor so assume we are getting them much cheaper now because of it. Then there is also other little things we have to pay for. For us to break even we have to average 1800 per meeting. Don't know how we could ever manage that. Interestingly for the to break even they need 900 so that half of what we need. As adrian Smith says. Running belle vue is like feeding the beast

Reserves will be the winner here and pooled are much stronger. But with it being the Danes first meeting and covatti not a regular at Poole we have to take advantage here.

Thats what i heard to. They asked to run saturday but BSPA refused. Why refuse. We need to keep the clubs going. And whatever people thought of the guests and R/R crowds were much larger cos they rode on there preferred race night

They wont be the only club behind in payments. Many more are to. Belle vue have history of not paying riders. (Ex promotion may I add) At least workington had the gonads to go in the press with there money worries and not paying riders. It stops rumours. But when has a promotion or BSPA ever told the truth. They are not about to start now

For me it's a bit of a grass roots type of stadium. I find it ok TBH. I like that they do youth speedway races before meeting. That's great. The presentation was shocking though last Wednesday when we was there. Not really much happening between races. A few interviews here and there. And when we had a long sum delay there was only 1 or 2 interviews. Otherwise was very quiet and subdued but then alot of clubs are like that. They expect you to just pay for 15 heats of speedway. Nothing else. Well they need to learn that we want a night out. Not just 15 heats of racing
