Craig Cook: what next?
Phil The Ace replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
30k a season is a bit wide of the mark. It was more like 19k a year. Which is still a full time wage for some people -
The Latvian are indeed riding in Manchester. I rekon the guy got them mixed up with Ukraine last week.
-
It was a comment by someone on Facebook. So hope it's just hesr say and it isnt true
-
Just read elsewhere that both Latvia riders are out. Anyone else heard anything

PSC • Swindon Robins v King’s Lynn Stars • 9/5
Phil The Ace replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Might have been something to do with a certain sponsor threatening to pull there sponsorship if a certain rider guests for them. They had the perfect excuse because of the weather forecast to call this off to allow time to sort it out. -

He was. But somebody by all accounts was trying to stop that happening -

They had a fall out and went there separate ways. Heard alot of rumours about how petty CFS can be. -

CFS diddnt seem happy with cook guesting. Not sure he would have that much if a say. But I think this is a bit of an early call off. Could have waited till morning at latest -

That was a great result for Peterborough. And if it wasnt for bike trouble probably would have won -
Another poor performance from out no4 sorry to say. Time to test him at 2 or unfortunately be cruel and drop him so early in season.

Racing was awful. Heat 15 was good without a pass though
-
What the hell was that. Fuming I am. Deffo a match of 2 halfs. Well done Poole on the comeback. Jack holder rode brilliantly to block bjerre in heat 15 and both aces riders in heat 15. Some great team riding. From our perspective not good enough. We are relying to much on the heat leaders and when they have a bad one it will show. Like today. Tracks been poor all year for me. Today there was no outside line. Why they flooded the track after heat 8 I dont know. It wasnt a hot day. It wasnt needed. We all know which 2 riders need to go but i dont think we will change anything. They should at least get wells away from no4 and put bewley there with worrall at 3 and wells moving to 2

Belle vue fans always have s fee fans who attend Poole, myself 1 of them but with it being so early in season I think, like me most will attend in the summer months when its warmer and weather is more predictable, Its nothing tondo with thr state of the track. While it's not great at the moment in general thenpoole track is one of thr best. And if they ever do sort it then it will be up there with the best in UK Should imagine pooles crowds are alot bigger in summer months with holiday goers and away fans making the most of a few days away at the beach. -

I feel only the left turn to block bjerre on lap 3 was dodgy. You could see he was always in 2 minds what to do. Block inside or block the outside. Do t think he could make his mind up
