  1. At 5pm just over 700 tickets had sold I. Grandstand. Wouldn’t have been many walk ups so probably about 800 in there. So less than half full which makesnit look empty. id say about 500 in south. So not the best but for a TV meeting and it being kings lynn (no offence) it was ok
  2. We will never be like Poland. And we shouldn’t even try being. Of course we want to be like them but when old Doris next to you complains to the stewards because you cursed a few bad words and shouted loudly you don’t stand a chance
  3. No where near a classic. Very possesional but we got the job done eventually. do love watching miles round the NSS. Top bloke to
  4. Tate crash was nothing to do with dirt out wide.
  5. Best wishes to Emil, he’s come out of that pretty much unscathed. Lucky boy. why don’t Sheffield grade the track and bring the dirt back during the match. This is a regular occurrence here. it was only a few months ago Sheffield lads refused to race belle Vue when the berm was right up by the fence. what’s the difference
  6. I actually don’t think we will sign anyone anyway. Just keep using vuolas as a guest and then when needs be pick and choose the guests for that specific track.
  7. Exactly this. Time is very limited. And Vuolas will do well at belle Vue. No doubt about that. but Bellego is better and an option and PHB is available and probably better. that’s not to say I’d be unhappy with anti. Because I wouldnt be
  8. I think we will still win the bonus but will go down to the last heat. looking forward to getting back to some team action. Been a while. assume this will be the final test for vuolas. If he scores well im sure he will be signed.
  9. Well there is no more changes happening so really makes no sense this change and it’s not to do with money as they apparently been giving riders a blank cheque to sign. But struggling to to get a rider to accept. Belle Vue were sniffing around Killeen so assume it’s to stop us having him, that’s all I can think of
  10. He was guesting for us today. But don’t think he had signed
  11. We’re in a right mess at reserve now. we must sign a good no6 now we’ve lost Bailey. get well soon Connor. Health comes first. PHB wants a spot and I’d take him then there is Bellego who won’t be touched at reserve round NSS Vuolas is another who deserves a go. castagna, etheridge and barker are other options. for the RS. It will be between 4 riders surely mulford ablitt joe thompson killeen
  12. There’s a bigger goal for the owners. And that goal is a GP which I imagine will be here in 2025 as discovery we’re very pleased with what belle Vue offered
  13. Mark said they won’t make a profit. It’s all for a bigger goal
  14. Don’t know the exact reason. Maybe health and safety was one aspect. But they then added 2 disabled sections with took away space which is a reason also
  15. In 2016 the capacity in the southstand was a lot greater than it is now also
  16. First of all. Congrats team GB, fantastic night of racing and a worthy winner (we know the rules beforehand) The whole week was ran very very well and mark and his team should be very proud of what they have achieved this week. yes mistakes were made with pricing but for me only the kids pricing. He got that totally wrong. the adult tickets I think were fine, that’s just the going rate for big events that n this country now especially in Manchester that fast becoming a mini London. steve says the south was empty but I felt like sardines in there so can’t have been that empty. there was 250 tickets sold in east stand so while that’s very very low it’s not under 100 low like most are saying. altogether I say about 3200 there tonight. Not great but certainly not a tiny crowd for Uk speedway
  17. We wouldn’t have got a work permit sorted that quick. So won’t be him unless they signed him last week of course. ive heard we have signed someone. Just don’t know who or when they will start
  18. Say it quietly. we finally have a dry day in perfect conditions on the showcase event. so if weather is effecting your decision to go. Don’t let it should be good tonight
  19. It’s ok now. But light rain will hit at some point in a few hours. With some heavier rain. But not torrential. then you look at another forecast and it says no rain so don’t think they know precisely between them
  20. Tuesday and Wednesday was never going to most for the event the budget I’m sure will be from the Friday and Saturday crowds. Fridays crowd for a junior meeting is excellent. Way above I imagined they would think they have got. But Saturday is lower than. They thought they would have England on tonight so probably even less there today than yesterday we had a good 13 hours of heavy rain yesterday so to get a meeting on was good although left the track very grippy which affected the racing hopefully they will take the dirt of today leaving a better prepared track for racing it’s also harder to predict the 3rd place team today so should be fun
  21. Yeah, and I did. It was just a racing incident. Yes caused by rew but nothing stupid. He just locked up slightly causing his back wheel to hit Tate’s front wheel. And that was that. best wishes for tate. Suspected smashed pelvis and leg. Hopefully we get better news from an official source
