Belle Vue Aces v P'boro Panthers BHM (31/05) Midday...

a disappointing draw into a fabulous away win. Still unbeaten and brought 5 points home today cannot complain. Kurtz - broke his heat 1 curse tonight. Rode well today really. Kurtz is not a rider that will score you 15 points a meeting. Quicker people understand that the better. Richie- always in the mix all day. Unlucky this morning. Bewley -star man. What else can I say. Stevie - not his greatest days and brennan in for him in heat 14 shown that. Early in season though. So nothing to worry about. Wright - much better from heat 13 this morning onwards. Hopefully big things to come from now Jye - OK this morning. Brilliant tonight. He can be happy Brennan - still to master the NSS but it will come. I still belive he will be the top rising star end of season. Was brilliant tonight. And talks so so well. Very level headed lad. He's going places LEMON - made the correct changes. Your all quick to slate him when he doesn't so praise for when he gets it right today All in all A good day had. Love bank holiday double headers I'm the sun. -

Bewley rode Sunday before the Sheffield meeting and made it back. Took an half 1 flight into the UK. So hopefully will do the same. I've been assure our riders have all flights arranged for the season so shouldn't miss any meetings -
What a way to start your home NL season. ..some great racing and the young kids showing that age is just a number. Take a bow Sam and Harry mcgurk. Sam as huge potential has pass in heat 12 had to be seen to be believed. Harry as come on so much. Looks a totally different rider Compton was terrific and all action. The rest had there moments. Flint was unbeatable really except for when coles shoved him wide bend one and they then have a terrific race passing and re-passing but unfortunately flint got the better off him lap 4 All in all. The team might not be as good as previous seasons but its gonna be a fun ride along once again. Colts well worth the money

Ipswich vs Sheffield 27th May
Phil The Ace replied to 2ndbendbeerhut's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes, and struggling really, they would be best doing UK before poland -
they have someone and it wont be british based as they will only be making the team worse, diddnt cook get 3 wins in first match, so options will be Doyle ( most realistic) lives locally, means he can see his wife more, will drop sweden for Uk KK not getting rides in poland and got GP this year NKI - kings lynn rider at heart, easy to persuade Rasmus Jensen - rides lower league poland, so he can ride denmark and UK Toby Musliak - again rides lower league in poland and he likes the Uk

This is deffo a case of Jack picking and choosing the tracks he likes. should be a 28 day ban but im sure i read because of covid they were going to be lenient with rules, in which case gives riders the the chance to pick and choose there meetings, this wont be the last time it happens -

Not disputing that its a managers job to do what best for the team, just saying that its a reason for kemps poor start, but at the end of the day, they are 2 matches in, no one should be worrying about anyones form just yet especially after an 18 month break -

Regarding kemp, he was thrown in at the deep end in his first 2 matches. They kept swapping the reserves round giving Rowe the easier rides meaning kemp kept going from the tough gates in the tougher races -

He said that a team was willing to take him on his 13 point average, so probably a team thats under the limit -
Some may have seen that I have moaned about this on social media last few days, 18 months break between meetings. Electricity flowing through everyone's veins with excitement. Imagine this. Heat 1. Home rider wins. Crowd go wild. Winner celebrates with the crowd. Oh it's good to be back. Amazing. BUT..... As I said imagine that. Because that diddnt happen at belle vue. Now I understand jye had 2 rides on bounce so we can let him off. But in all the race winners only Bewley come round to take the applause. Fans seem to be invisible to the rider. We want to be entertained not just on track but with wheelies or like cookie does a fake chest pump on the badge. Means alot to the crowd that. When they do a good race and the crowd get excited they just kill any momentum the crowd gained by going straight to pits. . It's takes 30 secs to take the applause. Belle vue are really bad at it. What is your club like. Are you satisfied with the fan/rider interaction or does it not bother you

Great to have speedway back, enjoyed that, was an ok meeting and i wont take anything from anyones form form after 18 months away, need to give them a few meetings at least. Expect Batch to score poorly for a few weeks till his average is low enough for championship, by that time he will be replaced by holder at 1 and bang in some points for sheffield. -
