I wouldn’t say signing artem was a bad idea. At the time Brady was there and funding it. looking back now it’s a bad idea. Buster shouldn’t have agreed to honour certain contracts when he couldn’t afford to. also what’s happened to supporting your club through the good times and the bad times.

SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta
Phil The Ace replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It’s not really a 7 days suspension (punishment) so to speak if a rider misses a meeting through illness they not allowed to race for 7 days. so they made the statement sound like they have done something but technically they haven’t. It’s just protocol -
Poole is a very easy and nice track to ride and Poole paid him enough to show up
-
Emil is a more talented rider and can rider anywhere. Laguta is all about speed. also Emil chooses to race here and wants to race here and is enjoying his Uk spell so much. laguta is only here because Sweden won’t allow him to race there.
-
More “safe” than important. Which I don’t agree with at all. I think all our tracks are safe
-
Yes. But I would be very wary about him also
-
Not so sure. Buster honoured to pay what he was on. Probably because he knew he agreed to only do big tracks
-
Be careful what you wish for
-
They were sharing a base etc. but things won’t change. Laguta apparently was never going to wolves or Ipswich or Leicester
-
There will be a few tracks laguta will pick up a mysterious injury. but he won’t be injured for home matches luckily
-
How many times. Wasn’t 10k

Watched it back when home from belle Vue. good meeting I thought and actually a good showing from lynn really. Without the injury to laguta which I think was a fair reason to withdraw as his foot went on the spokes and yanked his leg back. 100% that was a sore one. Lyn would have won this or got at least a draw. riss was a shocking choice of guest. less said about Eurosport the better. The whole production is terrible. Starting with Tatum being on his own. I know there’s no point moaning as things won’t change but for me the BSPA need to step in and sort this and tell Eurosport your doing the sport no favours what so ever.

Belle Vue -V- Peterborough
Phil The Ace replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I actually thought Peterborough rode better than 35 points. Your riders were passed last lap a few times but you didn’t make it easy for us. that was an exceptional debut from Tarasenko. regarding Hans, as a kid growing up Hans was one of the top guys. In my all time top 5 riders. Loved him when I was a teenager, idolised him really, even 7 years ago when NSS opened hans was always a Thorn in our side and scored well but to see him how he was last night was heartbreaking, gut wrenching, embarrassing. For me he was the last of my childhood heroes dieing. End of an era. -

Tarasenko is fast. Once he’s dialled in he will be fine. Done better than I expected. -
