  1. Cook will ride for Edinburgh and belle Vue. You have my word. Think the journo jumped the gun a bit to quick and wa suppose to wait a few days before releasing it
  2. Edinburgh local press says he's signed for them and belle vue
  3. Yep. I got Nicholls average totally wrong so ignore me like normal.
  4. I know of at least 8 riders wanting to ride. And I bet there's another 12 willing
  5. Because people like me have only ever seen 2 successful seasons in 30 years of life. Haha
  6. We won't have max now because we are only allowed 2 d/u riders. With worrall and hopefully cook they will be the D/U RIDERS
  7. Oh sorry. Yeh. I did predict watt and batch at lakeside on Facebook earlier. Forgot about that
  8. I would prefer Zagar but I would be happy with all British riders Cook Nicholls King Worrall Another 4.17 left with that But as I say I'd be happy with Zagar but again happy with all brits
  9. Yeh must be. Heard a little rumour belle Vue may be all British riders. So maybe no Zagar
  10. Davey watt and swiderski???? Well under points limit that tho
  11. Yep hopefully. Zagar worrall and cook would be a good start
  12. Worrall signs Belle Vue have commenced their team building for 2014 with the signing of rising race ace Richie Worrall. After his planned move to Elite League rivals Lakeside fell through last year, the Rentruck Aces swiftly swooped at the chance to claim the 22-year olds signature on a full transfer from parent club Scunthorpe. And fans were quickly given a taster of his abilities around Kirkmanshulme Lane when he was called into action as a guest for the clubs traditional Good Friday season-opener against Wolverhampton. He scored a credible 6+1 points at reserve but with the Rentruck Aces already tracking a complete team, the door was opened for Worrall to join their Norfolk counterparts, Kings Lynn, on loan where his form flourished. In his first two appearances for the Stars the local boy from St. Helens scored a combined total of 17+3 points, which he rapidly bested with the performance of his career at home versus Wolverhampton on June 12th. He stormed to his first-ever flawless 18-point maximum around the Norfolk Arena, outscoring the likes of World No.11 Fredrik Lindgren and Kings Lynn spearhead Niels-Kristian Iversen. And as the 2013 season concluded, not only had Worrall graduated to a Premier League No.1 with Newcastle, he had advanced from an Elite League reserve to a fully-fledged Elite League No.4. Operations Director Chris Morton said: It was a significant move for us to bring Richie to Belle Vue as an asset last year, but the timing and the way he became available meant we had already completed our team-building. It was always our target to bring him into the side in 2014 however, and it has been very rewarding for us to watch him progress so substantially over the course of the season with Kings Lynn. The development of young British riders is as important to us as it is to British Speedway and being a young, up-and-coming local lad, Richie fits in very well with our plans as we go forward. He added: Were hoping to announce more signings over the next few weeks or so.
  13. Yep hopefully. But I'm just putting potential teams out there for a bit of fun as I'm bored if waiting for signings. Should be a good signing Tomo
  14. Just seen this in the speedway star. Grants are being considered for elite and premiere league teams who set up second sides in the national league. Subject to a new television contract being agreed. Great idea this.
  15. Well Scunthorpe were filling out work permit forms last night so my money is on masters
  16. Richard Lawson is the next rider confirmed. Predictable but good signing for the hammers. Good team building so far
  17. Another signing to be announced tonight also
  18. You treat KK right and he will reward you as being a great number 1. He was great for us. Poole treat him well and he is great for them. A happy KK is a free scoring KK
  19. I suppose he will speak with other clubs yes but would like to think he will ride for us. This is a problem because we haven't signed him as an assett. May the best club win
  20. Bloody hope not be I'll be up roar up here if he went Leicester. Where did he say this
  21. Never heard a moan about costs from belle Vue last year and we afforded Zagar so must have some money for team matters. If riders like hans and bjerre are desperate for rides then there wage demands will lower is imagine so it maybe worth a gamble to leave team building till late on As I said top heavy is way to go. Most reserves will be all of same level so you can't really build a team with strong reserves. And if you have a solid top 3 and 2 average riders isn't 4&5 then I'd still be confident that they will beat opposing reserves So unsure about worrall. Half time I think yes he will ride for us, and I do want him..... but Then I can't help but think he loved his time at kings Lynn and may want another year developing on a big track
