  1. No not at all. My info could be well if the mark. I don't know. But if it isn't then I'd be happy with the deal. Very happy
  2. I can't see nobody not liking it TBH f it's what I heard
  3. The stumbling block with Gino is he wants PL. think Ipswich and Edinburgh are in for him as well but prob be a belle Vue asset Birks has been spoken to but he won't want just EL unless we pay him well I suppose
  4. He's dialled into our track already. He's very quick around it
  5. Yes without the reduction Zagar can't fit. But as you will all find out next week worralls average has been reduced by 2.5%
  6. Oh right. Are they not. Anyway as I understand it he will be coming on a 3 point average if he was to ride EL and that's from a promoter Our teams a lot cheaper than last and we afforded Zagar even paying him on time and other riders. He will be with the aces. Keep your eyes peeled this week
  7. The rule is after you get your first official average whether it PL or EL you then get the 2.5% reduction for the next 3 years. Worralls first official average was with Newcastle in 2011 so for the next 3 years (2012,2013,2014) he gets the reduction. So with 2014 being next year it's his last year of being eligible for this rule
  8. Beat me to it. Lol It's what every aces fan wants
  9. Yeh in ute commenwealth riders come in on a 3 in the EL and 5 in the PL with America being in the commenwealth then im assuming he will come in on a 3
  10. . He can't rid for us. Your only allowed 2 D/Us I. The 1-5. He signed for Workington and we already have cook and worrall doubling up Zagar Cook Nicholls Worrall Manzares Will most likely be our 1-4. That's 5 English riders which is good going TBH these young drivers won't be bothered about miles as they will be just happy to be riding in the EL
  11. Howarths got a reduction for Workington so should imagine so will Richie for you as well
  12. When the worky team was announced last night. They did say howarth has been signed as an asset
  13. Think you will find worrall will be 5.64 after his 2.5% reduction meaning Zagar will be signed sealed and released next week with probably manzares as the 5th rider
  14. I don't know what the delay is TBH. as far is I'm aware everything is signed. Must have been a last minute glitch somewhere
  15. Excatly. Why I expect you to take garrity. Hope u don't. But u should. If you don't. Questions have to be asked of havvy the BSPA and belle vue
  16. That's water under the bridge now mate. On really good terms again. FWIW I think garrity will be at Coventry. I just lhope you stay loyal to young Jacobs. Lol
  17. So with 3 riders announced Cook Nicholls Worrall 1 rider to hopefully be announced next week in Zagar A 3 pointer needed. Manzares for me please Now the reserves. It's the pick on Tuesday and we get 2nd pick probably meaning we loose out on Jason garrity. I know Jason wants to ride for us but they have all signed a contract saying they have to ride for which ever club picks them. Meaning we will loose out in garrity which is a shame. But will rider power intervein. Big day for the BSPA this. If the draft doesn't go to plan it is going to continue on the 10th of December so we may not find out next week although how hard can it be allocating riders in 1 day. So if we loose out on garrity then who's left and which way do you go. Do you pick a worse 1st pick to get a better second pick meaning you have two average riders or go for another big hitter and get a worse second pick???? If we can have garrity then we will have last 2nd pick most likely. Or one of them. This is ok though as I'm sure garrity will score us at least 7-10 points a meeting. Meaning the other reserve only has to score a few points. What I want to know is which way do you want us to go? I'll go with us getting Lewis blackbird and a rubbish 2nd pick. Probably Ben Hopwood because he's local But then something like Paul starke/joe Jacobs and ste worrall sounds good doesn't it But as I say if rider power gets there way out picks will be Jason Garrity Stevie Worrall Now that would be best reserve pairing as well as one of the best if not best top 4 in the league. What a team we could have.
  18. Worrall gets his deduction. Don't you worry about that. Zagar will be signed and probably announced next Wednesday or summert In time for the speedway star
  19. I know. He's clearly very loyal and intends to stay at belle Vue till he takes the number 1 jacket. Then he may go onto pastures new
  20. Cookie signs for belle Vue. Never in doubt. You can forget him now
  21. Craig cook signs. Never In Doubt Returning for his fourth season in Manchester, Belle Vue are thrilled to reveal Craig Cook as the latest addition to their new-look side. He retains his role as captain of the Rentruck Aces, following his fellow Great Brits Richie Worrall and Scott Nicholls into the team, whilst also doubling-up with Premier League club Edinburgh as their No.1 for a fourth year in a row. The 26-year old from Whitehaven had one of the most successful years of his career last season, and Belle Vue fans witnessed some remarkable performances which, combined with his professional attitude, led to him making his Team GB debut at Kings Lynn for the 2013 Speedway World Cup. But it was his display at No.1 for the Monarchs that left critics stunned. He scored an unparalleled total of roughly 615 match points for the Premier League powerhouse, and in 47 meetings he made a record-breaking 45 Heat Fifteen appearances. He also laid claim to a handful of track records, first at Glasgows Ashfield Stadium and then at Leicester 55 days later; Lions fans were left beyond speechless however when the GB International visited on August 31st. He smashed the previous track record at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium in Heat 1, but not content to rest on his laurels he proceeded to break his own record twice more; first in Heat 5, then Heat 15! Cook was quick to dismiss rumours of a move elsewhere in the Elite League however, and fiercely repeated his loyalty to the club who has nurtured his top-flight career for nearly half a decade. He said: Im really pleased to be back with the Aces next season. The management have been great to me ever since I first rode for Belle Vue and they always appreciate the effort I put in for the team, and in return Im determined to show my loyalty to them as I have done for years. The team is coming together really nicely this year. Including me we have at least five British boys in the side, which is very important to us and to British Speedway. Ive never really ridden with Richie Worrall before but hes a great guy and as team mates Im sure well get on very well. Scott is someone Ive really looked up to throughout my short Speedway career and learning from someone as knowledgeable as him is something Im really looking forward to. Hes a great ambassador for the sport and has been for a very long time. Weve still got another four places to fill, but if the rest of our signings pan out as the management propose, I dont think well be underestimated like in previous years. I feel well definitely be a force to be reckoned with.
