  1. Regarding the flat track the track was an absolute mess but they completed 12 heats in heavy rain, the rain then stopped so they had a very long interval to blade all the slip off which worked a treat as they finished the meeting in ok conditions. I enjoyed the flat track more than I have the colts this season. it was a shame they couldn’t showcase there talents in good conditions
  2. We know a good lawyer. We will find some British family member in his family tree and get him in as a Brit on an average below 4
  3. I think rew is lowering his average for belle Vue next season
  4. They do have 8+ points to replace Lawson if they wanted to which would make them title favourites for me.
  5. Lambert for Lawson is the rumour. but why would a promoter selling the club spend more money. Doesn’t make sense. And I think it’s just that. A rumour at this stage
  6. No racing no fans wasn’t allowed to attend. It was all behind closed doors sadly
  7. Grandstand holds 1800 and there was 500 tickets left so 1300 in there. probably 600+ in south. So I say about 2k there. Maybe slightly over which is good for a TV meeting. atmosphere was like a final and Sheffield fans played there part. was an ok meeting till the last few races. I went home happy and feel like I got value for money and I’d think every fan did to
  8. Worrall and Lawson don’t get on cook and Lawson ain’t best friends either I think maybe Lawson is making way for someone else to
  9. No. Unfortunately not. There is a view of the pits from the car park before and afterwards you can get to where all the vans are to see the riders.
  10. Also truckfest have said in Scotland today that they won’t be at the showground next year as it’s being re-developed. I think sadly this will be your last season.
  11. You will return. There is no way buster lets li he lynn close. No way.
  12. Looking forward to this. Be interesting to see what crowd they get. Ticket sales don’t look to be great and had a lot of rain last few days.
  13. Seems like laguta is staying now, would you have him return next season, surely will be much better after half a season racing in UK
  14. First of all. Best wishes to the cameraman. Hope all this is just precautionary, get well soon. that was a freak horrible accident, I was told these bikes are not built for small tracks nowadays especially with people so close to the track. thoughts also with Craig. He will be heartbroken over it.
  15. Won’t be financial decision from club because surely they will be on garuntees.
  16. I would say tracks are generally better prepared now that they was a few years ago which is what Woffy was saying. that riders he’s spoke to said the track are much better prepared now. but like pottering said. That’s because majority are big tracks now
  17. As long as his flight from Spain isn’t cancelled he will be there
  18. Not being able to ride on the race days was a problem to. but they deffo want top league and do have the finances to be safe in top league.
  19. Fair enough. They wasn’t allowed up to top league because they could only race Wednesdays. But obviously it’s Mondays and Thursdays they can’t race , My apologies and there for there was no need for such a gamble last night and last week
  20. Trouble is with Oxford only being allowed to race Wednesdays and no other day they are kind of forced into o try get every meeting on. it’s a catch 22 scenario for them. BUT like all businesses your fans are your business. You have to look after them. And 2 weeks now they haven’t thought of you at all. Which is a shame after such a positive return back to the sport. It can all be undone in 2 weeks though so be interested to see crowd figures on next meeting
