  1. It was always going to be a ball ache to park as where the stadium is, is a massive residential area and they are getting parking permit holders area so having a park and ride system of £5 is cheaper than a £40 fine by Manchester city council. The traffic wardens will be all over the stadium like a fat kid is a sweet shop
  2. Parking arrangements With the 2016 Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup now only weeks away, preparations for the Race Off and Final are well underway at the National Speedway Stadium in the city of Manchester. To minimise traffic disruption in the immediate vicinity of the stadium, Belle Vue Speedway will be operating a Parking Pass scheme for any patrons wishing to make use of the venues car parks. Passes are strictly limited and are valid for the St Peters RC High School car park, located opposite the venues South Car Park on Pink Bank Lane. The charge is £5 for the Race Off and £5 for the Final. Those interested in reserving a pass can do s by contacting the club via email at info@bellevueaces.co, or calling 0161 223 7720. Please note that vehicular access to both Kirkmanshulme Lane and Pink Bank Lane for non-residents during both events is permitted only by presenting a valid 2016 Speedway World Cup parking pass. Customers not in possession of one of these passes will not be granted access to the car parks, and the club would urge those spectators in advance not to attempt driving directly to the complex. As an alternative, Belle Vue Speedway has implemented a Park and Ride scheme travelling from Manchester City's Etihad Stadium to the National Speedway Stadium for both the Race Off and Final. The charge to park is £5 per day, and includes coach travel to and from the stadium. As part of our promise to our seasonal permit holders, parking passes for both the Race Off and Final will be made available to them free of charge in the stadiums South Car Park just off Pink Bank Lane. These passes are also available to customers whose permits usually cover the East and North Car Parks, which have been designated for various other uses during the extended World Cup weekend.
  3. I'm currently in Cape verde where the Eurosport here is Portuguese. Does anyone know if sec is shown on this Eurosport channel???
  4. Watching on TV it was a okish/decent meeting. Scores helped that Being there as I was, I thought it was a bloody fantastic meeting. Nothing beats live speedway.
  5. Meeting delayed due to a member of crowd having to be rushed to hospital. Hope she is ok. Best wishes to her Starting tapes failed do using elastic Poorest crowd of the EL year. Good 1st laps Bad 2nd/3rd/4th laps Had interval with rain incoming Meeting abandoned That's has good as it got.
  6. Is there a squarer corner than bend 4. It's squarer than a square. I bet there have been some carnage on that bend with riders trying to cut under the rider in front
  7. Who cares. Stevie Worrall is better than both
  8. Where did that come from Kennett. Great performance
  9. Think I have seen the worse ref decision of all time in heat 4 tonight. How Richie got excluded God knows.
  10. I really can't see us getting close. Easy wolves win. Wolves are just to good at home.
  11. How the hell has this thread reached 58 pages. The original question only needed a yes or no answer
  12. Yep, proper sore loosers from Leicester speedway and disgraceful for not giving us a victory parade. I've lost all respect for their promotion now. Well done belle vue for sticking it up them.
  13. Maybe something to do with Matt Williamson guesting for chessell
  14. today's meeting is off. I'm looking forward to hear the reasons for this. Sounds like a lot of petty antics from mildenhall promotion. All though it's best to wait for mildenhall press release
  15. Masters got free entry and free carvery. Ignore all the BS on social media.
  16. Very slick track tonight. Just need a little more dirt. All though rain was forecasts which came but not till just after heat 15. Sods law I suppose. If we would have watered I bet the rain would have hit at heat 1. It was a decent meeting. Some very close races which I suppose made it feel better than it actually was. Fricke was immense. Jacobs repaying our faith in him. But zagar 4 points again???? It's not him. It's Deffo his bikes. He's just so slow and he's now had 3 genuine E/F. Uike him that. He needs to sort his bikes our asap. Thorsell loved the track. He rode well has did Lindgren and kylmakorpi who was always in contention to score more points. Was Lindgren the first rider to be excluded for going on centre green. And more importantly did anyone see him go on centre green. Cos I never did and the ppl around me never did. Unsure how the crowd was today. When ur in grandstand it looks full it's hard to tell how many was in there. I'd say about 800-1000 was in grandstand. And we'll done management. They have moved the speakers to the top of the grandstand and put more speakers in so the tannoy is now loud and clear where ever u are.
  17. Weather is fine here. No rain for 2 days at track No, Hansen still rides
