  1. I really like Wozniak and he is one of them who rides for the clubs fans in everyone of his races. He would be very entertaining. Bjerre though is UK based and has the experience to pass onto the young ones. On a track like belle vue he would be brilliant on his average as a 2nd string aswell may I had. (Well for the 1st month or so anyway) So for me if the 6 riders are already signed bjerre is a must. Them that do t rate bjerre who would u rather have MPT Thomas jorgensen Berge Schlein Wozniak ????????????????
  2. Personally I don't think we will have any Coventry riders. If we do we will only have 1 of any of the riders fit. I'm pretty certain 6 riders are already signed up leaving 1 unknown So Fricke 9.92 Cook 9.83 Stevie 8.47 Sedgman 7.60 Bewley 3.90 Smith 2 Leaves 8.28 so if we was to nick a Coventry riders it would be Bjerre
  3. We are having one. Lemo is taking care of signings. He said so at fans Forum Plus ignis economical sense as we have to use the stadium as many times as possible
  4. I'd love to read it but like 99% of speedway fans I'm blocked my them. Well assuming it's a tweet from bspa
  5. Horton could have at least contacted the riders to explain the situation. At least a text or email if he wasn't man enough to tell them face to face or via a phone call. Or the bspa could have told the riders as they are the ones seemingly closing Coventry down. Incidentally the riders still haven't been contacted and only know through the wonderful social media. Hang your heads in shame
  6. Gutted for the Coventry fans. Some of the best fans In the league. Will be solely missed.
  7. They was not friends with David gordon. They were someone the council helped get involved with gordon.
  8. Can we not forget that past now and move on. It's the start of a new era today. 1 year after the last era started haha
  9. Contracts finally signed. And the new owners revealed. All systems go now
  10. Well after last night I don't think belle vue will be challenging. They have a budget and they will not go over budget so expect a steady team. Not a expensive win at all costs team. Think kings Lynn are favs to me. Followed by poole. I think wolves will be the biggest disappointments while Leicester will surprise a few
  11. Yep. It's a massive test for them. It's going to be interesting in how they react to the bspa's stubbornness
  12. So the new owners will honour the great man himself. Peter Craven and open the season with the Peter Craven meeting. That is a very good way for them to introduce themselves. And see how the stadium is run. I hope alot of fans attend. Obviously this year we are on a very tight budget. (Understandable) so this won't be a line up like last year was. So who would you like to see. What kind of format do you want to see. Pairs?? Individual??? 4s??? Anyone with Peter Craven tickets last year that have not been refunded will be honoured with free entry to this meeting. It's a shame it's on mothers day and Simon lambert testimonial.
  13. I liked Eddie smiths comment about southwell and rice being pain in the arses to deal with. That says everything you need to know about the guys. They always get what they set out to do even if it takes longer than it should. This should bold well for us in the future. And hopefully for speedway in general in this country. They will not be walked over. Happy days are round the corner
  14. Andy Mellish was in attendance last night so assume if the Woodhall twins wasn't going to ride then he would be one reserve. I'd say 1 of the Woodhall will be no8 and the twins will share a spot
  15. Yes I sure can. They are having to pay around 500k to pay of debts so straight away they are starting on a negative. Therefore they have a smaller budget for a few years till as they say steady the ship and then go from there
  16. Was a very good night. These guys are like I've never seen before in speedway. Very passionate and talk alot of sense. Can't understand why I couldn't video but think it was the MCC that dIddnt want it videoing plus there was someone official videoing with a proper camera from the back of the crowd. Contracts will be signed tomo morning Peter Craven meeting will be re run on March 26th. Anyone with tickets can attend for free South stand terracing will again be temporarily paid for by the council for this year. Permanent the year after Track covers will be here for 2018. Maybe end of this year They are running the club on a budget that they won't go over to get the club in trouble. They expect to loose money first few years. They will run an acadamy. After a few years when they fully understand speedway in general and how belle vue speedway run they will make belle vue more commercialised Stevie Worrall and cook first 2 riders confirmed. He as 37 potential teams so hasn't made his mind uo yet on rest of team. Mark lemon will run the Premiership team and colts. His new role is Co promoter. Or as they call it director of speedway. So he will run the speedway side of things and Adrian (something) will run the business side of it. Overall I was very impressed and look forward to what the future holds.
  17. I have tried both and I will periscope. Much better
  18. Yeh. I will be doing regular reports on my bellevuearmy.co.uk website. So look on there and later on in will copy and paste on here
  19. For anyone that will be Interested in what will be said. I will be periscoping or Facebook live'ing it. Depending on the better quality. For periscope follow my twitter PhilTheAce Or Facebook like add Phillip John Mullard (not Phil mullard)
  20. You been sacked already haha I've heard the management will be there. So southwell, rice and lemon. And a couple of riders potentially. But we will have to wait and see on that
